The play is about a Polish boy’s life in England. ‘His life is the same as my life. I’m Polish, but I live in England now,’ says Antoni. Antoni has got his own dressing room in the theatre, with a mirror, a sofa and a desk. There are sandwiches on the desk, and he’s got some lemonade in his fridge. During the week the shows are in the evening, but today the play’s at two o’clock. Antoni, you’re at the theatre for a long time every day. Are you always busy? Yes, I am, but we have two breaks every day. During the breaks, I do my homework, or I play backgammon and cards with the other actors. Backgammon is my favourite game.
