Reading for Prizes
Weekly PrizesWeekly Prizes
Read for at least 15 minutes every day. Mark off the date on the log calendar.
Show your log at the prize desk. You can have one prize each week.
Come every week, because if you miss a week you miss the prize for that week.
Play from Tuesday, May 29 — Friday, July 20, 2018.
When you get half-way through your reading log
we will give you a golden ticket, a finishing prize and a Winner’s Certificate.
Keep playing for weekly prizes until the last week of the game.
Even if you only read one day, bring your log that week to get your weekly prize.
Didn’t manage to read this week at all? Bring your log to the library, read anything
for 15 minutes, then bring your log to the desk to get your weekly prize.
Golden Ticket DrawingsGolden Ticket Drawings
Do an activity at the Golden Ticket Booth to win a golden ticket.
There are 8 golden ticket drawings, so only 8 kids will win the bag of prizes and
books. There will be a winner each week. Many will enter, few will win.

If you are starting 6th grade in the fall, you may choose to use the kids’ reading log
