BD06496_Ironies of Digital Age

It is one of the great ironies of the digital revolution that, so far from ushering in the death of the book, its main impact up till now has been to give the printed book a new lease of life allowing it to live well beyond the age at which it would have died in the pre-digital world and indeed rendering it potentially immortal.
