CHEF’S TABLE AT THE HOTEL CIPRIANI RESTAURANTCOPACABANA PALACE HOTEL

Well-known in Rio as one of the city’s premier restaurants, Hotel Cipriani Restaurant at the famed Copacabana Palace offers an exceptional menu of Northern Italian Cuisine. Just like its namesake restaurant in Venice, the Cipriani is adorned with beautiful Venetian inspired surroundings, from Fortuny Fabrics to handmade Murano lamps. Combining innovative dishes along with family recipes that have been passed down for generations, chef Nicola Finamore utilizes the freshest Brazilian and Italian ingredients to create masterpieces that are sure to delight the palate.

One of the most exclusive and unique fine-dining experiences in Rio is the Chef’s Table, located in the heart of the Cipriani Restaurant’s kitchen. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will allow the lucky guests to follow Chef Finamore as he prepares a number of dishes inspired by the day’s freshest ingredients. EXPERIENCE THE WONDERS OF RIO DE JANEIRO


HALF DAY CORCOVADO TOUROn this half day tour you will visit the most famous statue in all of Rio - Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado Mountain. After a scenic drive to reach this main scenic spot, you will take the cogwheel train, or air conditioned van, to the summit where standing on the viewing platform you will take in the gorgeous panoramic view including downtown Rio, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Copacabana beach. The view is breathtaking and you are sure to take some unforgettable pictures from this iconic South American peak!

HALF DAY SUGAR LOAF TOUROn this half day tour you will drive through historic Rio as you make your way to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Your first leg will take you, via cable car, to Urca Hill, 220 meters above sea level. From here you will get a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay. Your next cable car ride will take you to the top of the famous Sugar Loaf mountain where you will have an uninterrupted view over the bay across to Niteroi.

FAVELA TOURA Favela Tour reveals the way of life of around 20% of Rio’s population. It alters the conception that favelas are simply no-go areas dominated by criminals, and opens a new perspective of Rio society; its contrasts and paradoxes. The tour takes visitors to the community of Vila Canoas, with around 2,500 people, and Rocinha, the largest favela in Brazil, with a population of 85, 000 dwellers. Both are placed within the rich neighborhood of São Conrado. Discover this unique culture and enjoy breathtaking views while walking through narrow alleyways.


BRAZILIAN SAMBA & FOLKLORE SHOWLed by a talented cast of dancers and performers, you will be taken on a cultural journey through popular Brazilian music. Its history started when the Portuguese settlers couldn’t impose their habits, religion or slavery on the natives that lived free on the shores and rainforests of their land. The only solution was for the settlers to bring Africans for labor, and with it came their culture. The atmosphere is cheerful, informal and fun.

SURFING LESSONSSurfing is a very popular activity in Rio, right after soccer - the favorite national sport! The long coast offers wonderful areas for surfing, with many beach breaks providing ideal conditions for easy and safe learning. The best beaches are Barra da Tijuca, Prainha and Grumari, on the West zone. Qualified instructors are prepared to either teach beginners or assist experienced surfers. Return transportation and all necessary equipment are included, along with local carioca expertise!



RIO’S NIGHTLIFE TOURRio is world famous for its music. With your knowledgeable guide, mix with the local audience to hear and dance to the best in the city! There is music for all tastes in Rio, but the most interesting places for visitors are the bars in Lapa, the old area of downtown. On any night of the week, you will find a variety of talented musicians playing live Brazilian music. Lapa has just recently boomed as a nightlife area, the first of the music venues opened only eight years ago. What is remarkable is the mixed audience that’s attracted by samba and chorinho (a faster beat with less percussion and more strings). You will see people from 18 to 80, dancing and singing the old songs that everyone knows by heart.




TIJUCA FOREST HIKEThis park is known as the largest urban forest on earth. Its huge mountains covered with tropical vegetation contrast with dramatic granite rocks forming a unique background for Rio’s beaches. We will visit the Park’s best viewpoints, waterfalls and hike up Tijuca Peak (Rio’s highest at 3300 ft). Guests may combine this half day tour with an afternoon visit to the charming district of Santa Teresa, with its cobblestone hilly streets, old homes, interesting museums and Rio’s last surviving tram line.

PEDRA BONITA HIKEEnjoy one of the most beautiful hikes in all of Rio de Janeiro. Your adventure begins with a drive to São Conrado beach and the Tijuca Forest to reach the base of Pedra Bonita Mountain. As one of Rio’s most famous spots for spectacular scenery, be sure to keep an eye out for hang gliders and other extreme sports aficionados taking advantage of its various lookout points. Your hike will take you along one of the peak’s easier trails, affording hikers with an enjoyable 30 minute trek up to the summit and providing fabulous vantage points from which to see Rio’s shoreline, Pedra da Gavea Mountain, Rocinha, one of Rio’s largest and most impressive favelas, as well as the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.

MACHU PICCHU PERU EXCURSION INCLUDING LIMA AND CUSCOExperience the rich culture and history of Peru on this six day tour that takes you to multiple hot spots around the country. Start in Lima, Peru’s capital, the coastal city that holds a third of the Peruvian population. You will experience the liveliness of the capital on your private tour before you leave the next day for the Sacred Valley. You will explore the key settlement of the Inca Empire spread across the valley as you travel to your luxury hotel. The next morning you will take the train headed to Machu Picchu, the impressive world heritage site that was built around the year of 1450 but abandoned around the time of the Spanish conquest of the Inca Empire.

Your fourth day includes a tour of the Huayana Picchu and the opportunity to scale this recognizable peak to take in the unparalleled view. To end your day and to get you to your final Peruvian destination, board the Orient Express Hiram Bingham train back to Cusco. On your final day, Explore Cusco via your private tour, seeing what remains of the Temple of the Sun and the Sacsayhuaman Stones, both showcasing the impressive craftsmanship of the ancient Incan people.
