Reader Profiles

Although I am not doing a magazine like NME I feel as though there reader profile is one of the best and I have modeled my own reader profile after it.

It is effective in documenting all the interests of their readers such as what clothing brands, types of drinks and cars they drive. I want to include this on my own reader profile as it will show he interest of my own readers.

I also like how they have documented and deatiled there statistics of their readers by including things like age, gender and whether they are a student or not etc.

I also like ho they have included quotes from readers. I feel as though this is a good way to get potential buyers to buy as they feel like they can trust people who are just like them.

NME Reader Profile

This is a more similar music magazine to my own as it does cover a wide variety of music genres including my chosen genre pop.

I feel as though this isn’t a very effective way to document the reader profile as it does not go into a lot of detail such as the readers interests.

However it does document the basics such as age and gender very well and I feel as though I should try and model mine off this.

What I will take from this reader profile is that I will try and make mine more visually appealing so that when people look at it they want to look at it and not browse over it.
