3. Validity of CTP card

The CTP is available in two formats:

• Standard, designed for one person;• Family, designed for a family (two adults with one or two children under 13 years).

Each version (standard and family) can be purchased in three denominations: 1, 3 or 5 days, equiva-lent to 24, 72 and 120 hours, respectively.

The card must be validated at the moment of the first use. When visiting one of the museums included in this program, the holder has to fill the slots with hour, day, month and year in the front of the card.

The CTP card can be used only if adequately validated and within the valid pe-riod.

4. Validity of the unique ticket CTP

The unique ticket CTP entitles to use all the urban routes managed by AMT SpA, including Alibus fast line (Airport-Center) and Ferrovia Circumetnea Metro line.

The ticket is valid for one person (standard version) or for a family composed at most by two adults and two children under 13 years (family version), for 24, 72 or 120 hours depending on the CTR purchased.

The ticket must be validated on the first mean of transportation used (bus or metro) and the validity period starts from the first validation.

The unique ticket CTP is valid only if combined with the CTP card. Who uses the public transport system with a not validated or expired CTP ticket, or without the combined CTP card, will be subjected to sanctions as if travelling without a ticket.

This regulation controls the purchase and the employment of the service card “Catania Pass” (CTP), promoted by the City of Catania and produced by Azienda Metropolitana Trasporti Catania S.p.A following the operative agreement attached to the resolution of the City Government n. 170 12/11/2014.

The CTP is experimentally created to promote and ease the access to the museums and the cultural heritage managed by the City, by the Archdiocese of Catania and by other institutions, through assi-sted modalities of access, and the use of the public transport system of the City of Catania managed by Azienda Metropolitana Trasporti Catania S.p.A.

2. Features of CTP

The CTP is a card allows to visit the following locations:

• Ursino Castle• Bellini Museum• Emilio Greco Museum• Diocesan Museum• Achilliane Thermae

The holders of CTP can get access to all the permanent exhibitions of museums above-mentioned. In case of special exhibitions, the City Council and the Archdiocese of Catania reserve the right to limit free access; in such case the holders of Catania Pass will still be entitled to a discounted rate.

The card entitles the holder to use the public transport vehicles, within the valid dates and following the modalities described at point #4.
