1) I Start by Picking a Niche to Write about on the Blog. A blog is a way to attract an audience — and, ultimately, to get

sales and commissions.

- Its important to pick a topic that has many affiliate products, and/or services for you to sell.

- I start by creating well-written articles on my blog and submitting them to sites like: Reddit, Facebook groups, and Twitter. This will generate traffic to the website.

- If your article is good, readers will share it, and it can create viral traffic to your site. If you continue to do this over time, you will also get traffic from search engines like Google and Yahoo.

The niche for my new site is music production

I've been producing music for over 15 years. I want to use the site to promote my music, get myself music jobs, sell music services online, and sell affiliate products.I'm currently developing 4 services to sell on the website.

This 'website setup service" and e-course is one of the ways i'm monetizing my site.

I'm also selling: music visualizer videos, production software for affiliate commissions, and in the near future i will offer mixing/mastering.

I'm just duplicating the same exact strategy i've done for over 10 years.

I used these techniques to start a Voiceover Business called Proudvoices (read about this in module 3)

I've also had 'affiliate sites' around topics like: weightloss, auto loans, and health supplements.

I'm excited to now be focusing on music, which is my main interest in life.

What is Affiliate Marketing? (in case you dont know)

Affiliate marketing allows you to get a commission, just by linking to a product.

If the customer clicks on your link, then makes a purchase, you get paid. I've seen payouts for affiliate products as high as $1500 per sale.

There are 1000's of products to promote on affiliate networks like: cj.com, clickbank.com, and globalwidemedia.com.

(You NEED a website to be accepted to these networks. SO, Dont apply yet until! Wait until i setup your site!)

2) After You Have a Website, The Next Step is to Sign up for an Affiliate Network, and Pick Out Products to Sell.

Affiliate networks have '1000's of products' to sell in every category

imaginable.

An Affiliate Network will provide you with special links

that track each customer you refer. (The network

then collects the money, and pays you via wire transfer .)

Affiliate networks i like include: CJ.com, Globalwidemedia.com, and

Clickbank.com.

Categories of affiliate products i've promoted include: weightloss,

online dating, finance, travel, gambling, mobile apps, etc.

Weightloss is a niche that is very profitable.

Below are a few weight loss affiliate products that are

offered on Cj.com. (The 'green bar' shows that alot of affiliates

are making money with them.

Which Affiliate Niche Should You Choose?

I love to promote financial niches. The ads for finance can be more

expensive, but the payouts are very good.

Below are some affiliate offers at GlobalWideMedia.com in the financial

niche.

Finance is very profitable, but a little boring to write about.

The cost per lead for some loan offers is up to $84

If someone fills out a loan application, and it fits certain criteria, you get $84.

I was previously very successful in the auto loan, debt consolidation, and credit niches.

I had an auto loan affiliate campaign that was making me $2000 per day for a period of time.

Also, I've sold Debt consolidation and Debt Settlement leads for up to $100.

3) How to Buy Web Traffic on Bingads

Now that you have a website, and a niche picked out, you need a traffic source.

Traffic can come from many sources including: social media, content marketing, and your email list, and paid search ads.

I like to buy traffic from Bingads.

There are many ad networks, But, I think Bingads is the easiest to use and is a good place to start buying ads. (They have very few restrictions about affiliate marketing and have high quality traffic.

You buy traffic by bidding on "keywords" that a user types into the search engine.

If you're selling diet pills, you would bid on keywords like: 'diet pills', 'diet

supplements', 'weight loss pills', etc.

(Module 5 shows exactly how to setup a campaign in Bingads. Sign up 'here' if you want all of the modules.)

Below is the Bingads interface. You bid on 'keywords' that users type into the search engine.

4) How to Create and Sell Your Own Services

In addition to selling affiliate products, you can sell your own services, to create a stable income stream and long term customers.

These services can include things like: web design, personal training, video production, mixing and mastering, etc.

Just edit the landing page i provide (see below). Then, buy paid ads on Bingads to get quotes.

Editing the landing page is easy.

Just change the text of your landing page, add your own sales copy, then link directly to your quote form. (which is created on wufoo.com)

Setting up Your Quote Form

Next, you need to create your quote form, then link to it directly from your landing page. After that, your ready to get quotes and sales.

Below is the quote form i made on Wufoo.com. (its easy to use)

It has a field for name, email, and a large box for the user to ask any questions, and give more information.

Once you get a quote, just send an email with an order form you make in Wufoo. A customer can pay via credit card. (pic below).

I used this exact technique to get 100's of jobs for an online voicover business.

If you can get an email response from the customer, there's a good chance you can get a sale.

5) Using Content Marketing to Generate More Traffic and Sales

A great way to get traffic is with content marketing.

I was able to get over 13,000 visitors for my online voiceover business with content marketing!

The basic idea of content marketing includes: writing high quality articles, then submiting them to social media sites like Reddit and Facebook groups.

For example, if you wrote an article about the Paleo diet, you could submit it to https://www.reddit.com/r/Paleo_Recipes/.

This will generate traffic to your site. (i go over this more in depth in Module 9)

Continue to write good quality articles, then submit them to social media.

If you consistantly write good articles, and submit them to social media, you will build a stream of traffic to your site that you can turn into quotes, sales, and a real business. Over time this will turn into a real business.

Thats it! This is the basic idea of my online business plan.
