PRAY FORSPIRITUAL AWAKENING & REACHING THE LOSTOur number one PURPOSE and GOAL is to reach unbelievers withthe Good News of Jesus Christ asoutlined in the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Most churches are not reaching unbelievers for a variety of reasons including spiritual complacency.

The key to REACHING THE LOST isfighting for them in diligent and per-sistent prayer. The enemy will not release his grasp easily but with the power of prayer and fasting all things are possible with our God.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14 provides the pathfor us: HUMBLE OURSELVES, PRAY, SEEK GOD’S FACE, TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS then the Lord will hearour prayers.

PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL AWAKENING & REACHING THE LOST WEEK 11. Pray that Lord would pour out His Spirit on(name of person, community, people group, etc)and draw them to Himself.John 6:44: “No one can come to Me unless theFather who sent Me draws him. And I will raise himup on the last day.”

2. Pray that the enemy’s control will be brokenand for captives to be set free.Ephesians 2:1-2: “And you were dead in your tres-passes and sins in which you once walked, fol-lowing the course of this world, following theprince of the power of the air, the spirit thatis now at work in the sons of disobedience”;Isaiah 61:1: “The spirit of the Lord is upon me be-cause the Lord has anointed me to bring good newsto the poor, he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives and open-ing of the prison to those who are bound.”

3. Pray that God would raise up people and mis-sionaries across the world committed to sharethe Gospel.Matthew 9:37-38: “Then He said to His disciples,the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvestto send out laborers into His harvest.”

4. Pray for “WHOSE YOUR ONE” and for believ-ers to be faithful in sharing the Gospel.John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gavehis only son that whoever believes in Him should notperish but have eternal life.”

WEEK 2

1. Pray the spiritually dead will be lifted from thedomain of darkness and for light to penetrate thedarkness.

Acts 26:18: “To open their eyes that they may turnfrom darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”

2. Pray the lost will escape the enemy’s schemesand lies.2 Timothy 2:25b-26: “God may perhaps grant themrepentance leading to a knowledge of the truth andthey may come to their senses and escape the snareof the devil after being captured by him to do hiswill.”

3. Pray that God would remove blindness andopen eyes of spiritual understanding.2 Corinthians 4:3-4: “And even if our Gospel isveiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In theircase the god of this world has blinded the minds ofthe unbelievers to keep them from seeing the lightof the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the imageof God.”

4. Pray for “WHOSE YOUR ONE” and for believ-ers to be faithful in sharing the Gospel.Romans 1:6: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel,for it is the power of God for salvation to everyonewho believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

WEEK 3

1. Pray peoples’ hearts will receive the Spirit’sconviction of sin and recognize their utter lost-ness.John 16:8: “And when He comes, He will convict theworld concerning sin and righteousness and judg-ment.”

2. Pray the lost would have the humility andcourage to repent and call on the name of theLord.Romans 10:13: “For everyone who calls on thename of the Lord will be saved.”

3. Pray that His people will be bold witnesses.Acts 4:13: “Now when they saw the boldness of Pe-ter and John, and perceived they were uneducated,common men, they were astonished. And they rec-ognized they had been with Jesus.”

4. Pray for “WHOSE YOUR ONE” and for believ-ers to be faithful in sharing the Gospel this year.Revelation 3:20: “Behold I stand at the door andknock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,I will come into him and eat with him, and he withme.”

WEEK 4

1. Pray that God will use us individually and col-lectively for the lost to have the opportunity tohear the Gospel.Romans 10:14: “How then will they call on Him inwhom they have not believed? And how are they tobelieve in Him of whom they have never heard? Andhow are they to hear without someone preaching?”

2. Pray for current missionaries’ protection, en-couragement, and success in reaching the peoplethey have devoted their lives to reach.Psalm 34:7-9: “The angel of the Lord encampsaround those who fear Him, and delivers them. Otaste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is theman who takes refuge in Him! O fear the Lord youHis saints for those who fear Him have no lack!”

3. Pray for those deceived by false religions andcults such as Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Mormon tobe set free by the truth of the word.John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, thetruth, and the life no one comes to the Father exceptthrough Me.’”

4. Pray for “WHO’S YOUR ONE” and for believ-ers to be faithful in sharing the Gospel this year.Proverbs 11:30: “The fruit of the righteous is a treeof life, and whoever captures a soul is wise.”
