A Welcome from Yvo Smit
February 2, 2014
Welcome to Chocolate Camp 2014: the 12th Annual Restaurant & Retail Conference!
We are glad to have you here in Hollywood, California for our yearly Restaurant & Retail managers’ meeting. I am delighted that you are able to participate, and hope that you find the meeting to be stimulating and informative. An exciting program has been put together for you. You will meet and get to know colleagues, work on your professional development and walk away with clear goals for 2014.
The 2014 conference program builds upon the program format introduced last year in Healdsburg, California. We will use the next couple of days to refresh our leadership essential skills as well as go over and celebrate last year’s results and encompass information on Marketing, Product Development, Our Brand, Operations, Finance and Human Resources. Through interactive dialogue and workshops, this meeting will present you with the direction of the Company and how you can make a difference in the year ahead. In addition, the meeting will present you tools which will help you to achieve your goals in 2014 and beyond.
Considerable care has been put into the organization of this meeting and your active and constructive participation is the best way to show your appreciation. Be sure to enjoy the meetings and activities and please make it a point to take back the learning’s to your teams in our stores, which will ensure our success in 2014.
Kind Regards,
Yvo Smit Vice President of Restaurant & Retail
