Re-installing G-Force and Adjusting Sound Settings in NO3 after a Windows Update
If G-Force does not appear after installing a Windows Update, you will need to uninstall G-Force via the
maintenance utility, re-boot and then launch NO3 and you will be prompted that it is available via
update. Download the update to install it and reboot. You will most likely need to readjust your sound
settings.
Accessing the NeurOptimal® Maintenance Utility
1. If you have gone in for cleanup via mouse call, the support techs have added the
NeurOptimal® Maintenance icon to the Start Menu.®
If you have not gone in for cleanup via mouse call, you will find the NeurOptimal® Maintenance Utility
)(maintenancetool.exe) by using File Explore and navigating to C:\zengar (see image next page)

2. Launch the utility and select Add or remove components (default).

3. Uncheck G-Force and click on Next. This will uninstall it.
4. Click on Update.

5. Click Yes to allow the app to make changes.
6. Make sure Reboot computer is check and click on Finish.
7. Your computer will then shut down and restart.

8. Launch NO3
9. NO3 will check for updates and find that G-Force is available.

11. Click Yes to allow the app to make changes.

13. Click Yes to reboot.
14. Adjusting Sound
15. Press and hold or right click on the sound icon in Window Task bar and select Sounds.

15. Go to the Playback Tab and make sure that Stereo In shows SoundSpectrum Audio enabled.

16. Go to the Recording Tab and press and hold on Stereo Out and Select Properties.

17. Make sure to select the correct playback device and check Listen to this Device. If headphones are
plugged into the Surface Pro prior to landing on this screen, then you will see that as an option. Click OK
