Summary

Women Cell of RDIAS organized an activity Fostering Indian Women 2019 for the students of BBA andMBA at Lecture Theatre on March 27, 2019 during 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. This activity Fostering IndianWomen 2019 was a presentation competition related to study on existing Government schemes for womenwelfare. It was an attempt to find out the gap between planning and actual implementation of womenwelfare schemes. The activity created awareness about government efforts for empowering women.

 

Participation in this activity was open for all the students of RDIAS (Both BBA and MBA). Total students whoenthusiastically participated in the event were 36, divided into 22 teams consisting of 2-3 members each.This Activity was judged by external judge Ms. Bharti Nagpal (ZCM) in reputed bank and Dr. Madhu Arora(Associate Professor- RDIAS).

 

The presentation round began with the anchors introducing the rules to all participants. Every groupshowcased their research work on the basis of questionnaire prepared by them. Basically, every groupconducted a primary research.

 

Three teams were awarded with the cash prizes and certificates. All the participants of BBA and MBAparticipated in the activity with full zeal and enthusiasm.

First PositionPriyanka Gangwar (MBA), Vasudha Sharma(MBA) and Shweta Aggarwal(MBA)

Second PositionBhawana(MBA), Paramjot Singh (MBA) and Raunak Sood (MBA)

Third Position Nikita Aggarwal (MBA), Priya Aggarwal (MBA) and Astha Bhardwaj (MBA)
