RDI® Introductory Workshop Going to the Heart of Autism with Relationship Development Intervention
October 10-11. 2015 | Shanghai, China
Hangzhou Young Education consultant. Co.,Ltd (Yehealth), a professional organization supporting
children with speech development delay and ASD in China, in collaboration with the RDI Connect and
CATCH Clinic, are proud to announce the very first RDI Connect authorized RDI Introductory Workshop
for parents and professionals in mainland China. Over two full and informative days, the event will
highlight research-based core deficits of Autism Spectrum Disorders, and provide an overview of how
this innovative remediation program can improve long-term quality of life, increase motivation and
competence for every individual on the Autism spectrum. Participants will learn through lecture, lively
discussions and video clips how to implement RDI principles using practical daily opportunities.
Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®)
Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®) offers customized cognitive-developmental treatment
programs for individuals and families facing social, emotional, behavioral and communication
difficulties. RDI® is often described as “the missing piece of the puzzle” in the treatment of Autism
Spectrum Disorders, and works to improve neural connectivity in individuals diagnosed with ASD as well
as Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD, Tourette Syndrome and other developmental issues.
The RDI® program teaches parents how to guide their child to seek out and succeed in true reciprocal
relationships, while addressing key core issues such as motivation, communication, emotional
regulation, episodic memory, rapid attention-shifting, appraisal, executive functioning, flexible thinking
and creative problem solving. Helping parents restore the guide-apprentice relationship opens the
doors for “Dynamic Intelligence” development which helps children improve their self -awareness,
self-regulation, empathy, competence, self-worth, adaptability and independence.
What to Expect from the Workshop
Held over 2 full days, 10thand 11th October 2015, this is the very first RDIConnect USA approved
workshop to take place in mainland China. The Shanghai workshop will cover a broad range of topics

overview of the RDI program, implementing RDI objectives at home, working with an RDI Consultant
and the RDI Learning System, and will also provide information on the RDI Certification Training for both
parents and professionals.
The workshop will be led by long-time Autism specialist and RDI Program Certified Consultant, Ms.
Maisie Soetantyo, co-founder of the CATCH Clinic of Northern California and Indonesia. Miss Soetantyo
