The visionァ ァ A united vision is extremely important for ensuring all members work towards the same goal.ァァ Strive always to act in accordance with the injunctions of the Quran and Sunnah, and remember that all work is done only for the sake of Allah.ァァ Ensure that the Islamic Society Constitution is clear in its aims and objectives.ァァ Ensure that the roles for each committee member are clearly defined.ァァ Develop a list of aims and objectives for the forthcoming year, and how they will be achieved.ァァ Brief all committee members of the successes and failures of events held over the past year.

Job DescriptionPresident (omar)

Shall be the head and the spokesperson of RCSI Isoc.Shall develop and oversee the strategic plan and annual delivery plans that work toward the RCSI Isoc vision and mission.Shall oversee and support members of RCSI Isoc Ireland Committee.Shall attend relevant external meeting where RCSI Isoc is represented or shall appoint someone to deputise for him/her in his/her absence or appoint the Fosis Representative.Shall ensure that the constitution is adhered to as well as additional agreed upon guidelines and policies.Shall make sure that all members of the committee is united as one and resolves any conflicts between us.Shall Represent Isoc to the RCSI Administration particularly the student services and the student union.

Vice President Sisters (farah)

Shall deputise for the president in his/her absence.

Shall oversee, support, and develop ways to increase sisters’ involvement in the RCSI Isoc.

Shall assist the Treasurer.

Shall Assist in prayer room matters

Vice President Brothers (syahir)

Shall deputise for the Chair in his/her absence.

Shall develop mechanisms to increase awareness about RCSI Isoc.

Shall oversee and support event managers in organising events and other activities.

Shall oversee and develop recruitment, induction and training for RCSI Isoc.

Treasurer (Izzat)

Shall maintain a record of all financial transactions of the committee.

Shall manage the council budget and expenses.

Shall pay all expenses incurred by RCSI Isoc out of its fund.

Shall coordinate fund-raising and sponsorship to improve current financial situation.

Shall submit a report of the accounts of RCSI Isoc at least once per academic term, or when requested by The Committee.

Shall look for sponsorship in times of needs.

Secretary (Intan & Faheem)

Shall write minutes of our meetings and sent them out to the members.Shall write room booking forms for Events to be sent to the Student service. (Besides Secretary, only the president, Vice Sisters + brothers, treasurer have the authority to do this)Shall keep records of the constitution, amendments to the constitution, motion.Shall work with the relevant members and IT officer to keep the RCSI Isoc woodpress website updated, to maintain an up-to-date list of RCSI Isoc contact details and to assist the IT manager in maintaining RCSI Isoc emails e-groups. Shall look over the RCSI Isoc Email. [email protected]

Shall coordinate, update and compile material read externally such as yahoogroups, blogs (wordpress), Facebook etc.

Shall design posters.

Shall design trailers.

Shall form a team to coordinate his functions.

Fosis/External representative (Shahirah)

To represent RCSI Isoc to external organization, such as Fosis, Student Union, and etc when needed.

Technical Officer (Muaz)

Shall coordinate technical needs of each events of RCSI Isoc.

Prayer Room Officer (Izzati)

Shall attend to the needs and requirement of the prayer rooms in RCSI.

Shall make sure that the prayer rooms are always clean and organized.

Shall form a team to help him/her to facilitate his or her job.

Beaumont representative (muhaimin)

Shall attend all the needs and requirements for RCSI muslim students studying in Beaumont Hospital, including:

Jumaah prayer

Weekly Jumaah Donations

Announcement to students

Feedback from students

Representing RCSI Isoc to the Beaumont hospital administrations.

Promotion Officer (not filled)

Shall promote all the events, updates of RCSI to all students of RCSI Isoc

Shall be in charge of poster, pamphlets and all other promoting materials.

Shall make announcements in class

Shall be in charge of selling tickets.

Shall form a team to facilitate his/her job

Student Affairs Committee (not filled)

To attend to all affairs of the members including:
