Regis Child Development Center 

Parent Evaluation Comments January 2012 

We had her in a daycare before Regis and I cried every day I dropped her off.  I love Regis. 

I will never go anywhere else for my kids’ child care.  I recommend you to everyone. 

Communication is amazing.  Everyone knows my child’s name and the parent’s names.  I feel 

that I know how my child’s day was. 

I have seen the snacks improve over the year but would encourage you to please avoid sugary 

snacks.  Please limit juice, I would prefer either milk or water. 

It would be great to see another language, Spanish, introduced at Regis.  It would be helpful if 

you had a summary of what types of things are taught in each room. 

Thank you for providing a wonderful experience for our child. 

Face to face communication is minimal but information is offered in newsletters and posted 

signs. 

My child’s care is amazing and everything I have ever expected.  She learns new things and loves 

coming every day.  When you can’t stay home with your kids everyday, Regis is the second best 

option.  Sincerely, thank you for all that you do for my kids. 

I don’t believe that it is appropriate to have a teacher be in the same room as their own child.  I 

think the teacher should temporarily work in a different room until their child moves up again. 

I wish there were better policies in place as to when to send a child home sick.  My child was 

sent home after having two loose stools at daycare without any other symptoms.  My child was 

getting a molar and was teething at the time, but I was told that there was a virus going around. 

Odor needs to be addressed.  Painting will help. 

Facility is old and a bit run down.  Need more space. 

We Love Regis!  Thank you for everything you do!! 

Curriculum is great. 

Too much staff turnover leads to instability in the classroom. 

My children love going to Regis.  My only complaint would be the inconstancy of the teachers.  

In the year and ½ my child has been there she has had several teachers in her rooms.  

Sometimes there have been emotional attachments and its hard to explain why a certain 

teacher is gone.  Other than that we love sending our kids here. 

Communication from teachers to parents needs to be improved with more specifics about 

child’s day. 

I love the fact that the teachers always seem to be happy and enjoying their day.  I think this is 

key to creating a happy learning environment. 

Often times I am just told my child had a “good day”.  A little more detail would be nice 

sometimes. 

I think the teachers at the day care do a tremendous job every day. 

 Only suggestion is that sometimes shoes are on the wrong feet. 

The program exceeds my expectations every day!  Very thankful to every teacher, you are 

wonderful.

Everyone has made our transition from an in‐home daycare to here very easy. 

I cannot say enough good things about Regis Child Care.  We could not feel more comfortable 

leaving Olive here every day – plus she loves it too! 

At times I feel like the teacher doesn’t like her job, or is overwhelmed. 

My concerns are with the constant teacher turnover in the classroom. 

Very impressed overall.

We feel so blessed to have Regis Child Development Center as our daughter’s before and after 

school care.  It is a huge relief knowing that, in any kind of weather, she is safe and watched 

over carefully.  The program accommodates our needs above and beyond and has done so for 

over 7 years.
