Loan periods

Books – 3 weeks and 7 days

DVDs/CDs – 7 days

Journals – 7 days (back copies only)

Laptops, headphones, card readers – 1 day in Centre use only.

Please note: we do operate a fine system if resources are overdue

Renewing items – you can renew your items twice unseen with your ID card at a LC desk or with your ID number over the phone, as long as no other borrower, has reserved the item(s). Items must then be returned or renewed at the desk with the items present.

Reserving items – If the item you are looking for is on loan to another borrower, you can reserve items to ensure, when they are returned, they are held for you. We hold reserved items for 2 weeks before they go back on the shelves.

Logging onto PCs - To log onto a PC, you will need your student ID number which is your username and a personal password. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters, contain UPPER and lower case letters number(s) and symbol(s) for example Reset123*

Inter Library Loans (ILL) – is a service we provide where we borrow items from libraries around the country if we don’t have what you require in stock or online as an Ebook.
