User Stories US 2800 – RCM – Use Google Map app instead of Browser When mapping an address within RC Mobile, the application will now display the Google Maps address mapping within the application, rather than opening a browser window to display the map.

US 2802 – RCM – Save Night mode Setting RC Mobile will remember the night mode setting being set when you log in and out of the application, as well as when the app is closed.

US 2824 – RCM – Remove Photo Upload The ability to upload a photo from the device’s memory has been removed from RC Mobile. All images uploaded to the assignment via RC Mobile need to be taken at the time of form completion. This affects all areas where photos can be taken (e.g. AR Photos task, etc.). This change was implemented to meet compliance verification requirements.

US 2825 – RCM – Additional Pictures The Assignment Photos task in the Assignment Actions screen gives you the ability to take photos other than those required as part of the completion of a form and place them on the attachment.

When you tap the action, the Photo Capture screen will display. A “RCM Photo 1” line item will display on the screen and give you the ability to take a photo. To do so just tap Take and follow use the device’s photo capturing functionality to take the photo.

After the photo is taken, a second photo line item will be added to the grid, giving you the ability to take an additional photo. This process will

repeat and allow you to take multiple photos.



The photo(s) will be saved to the assignment with a photo type of “RCM Photo”.

US 3385 – RCM – Add Agent Assignment Location and Lot Location Search options to RC Mobile Incomplete Queue UI On the Incomplete Assignments screen, filtering functionality can be found by tapping the Open Filters button.

When tapped, the previously existing Statuses and Clients dropdowns have been moved to this location. Locations and Lots filters have been added. These filters will allow you to select a specific or all locations and lots for your company. Select one or more criteria from these dropdowns and click Apply Filter to find specific assignments on the queue.

US 3456 – RCM – RCO/RCM – Incomplete Queue Optimization This user story was created to account for new views that were created, and minor changes implemented to optimize the RC Mobile Incomplete Queue on both RC Office and RC Mobile.

US 3458 – RCM – Custom AR Question Multi-Select When the assignment has custom Asset Recovery questions set up as part of the Asset Recovery Form task, they will display in the AR Custom Questionnaire screen1. It will have checkboxes that allow you to select multiple fields per questions.

US 3843 – RCM – Add Key Questions to Personal Property When you have answered “No” to the Do You Have Keys question on the Asset Recovery (AR) task and open the Personal Property task to record personal property information, the Key Questions screen will display2. It will display the answers recorded on the AR task. Review the answers to the key questions3.

If you have not obtained keys for the asset If you have not obtained keys for the asset, confirm that the Do you Have Keys, Plan to Obtain, and Key Source questions are still answered correctly, then tap Confirm Keys.

If you need to make changes, tap Edit Keys. The key-related questions you answered on the AR task will display on the screen. Make changes as necessary and tap Save Changes.

The rest of the form will display, and you can record personal property by filling it out as you usually would. The next time you open the form to complete it, the Key Questions section will display again and require you to confirm the key selections.

If you have obtained keys for the asset If you have obtained keys for the asset, when the Key Question screen displays, tap the Edit Keys button. On the next screen, answer Yes to the Do You Have Keys question. You will be required to select the Key Source. Then click Confirm Keys. The Keys Photo Capture screen will display. Tap the camera button to take an image of the keys picture with the device’s camera. When done, tap Continue.

The next time you open the form to complete it, the Key Questions section will no longer display.

US 3859 – RCM – Assignment Status Check Action When an assignment is opened in RC Mobile, the system performs a check to determine the assignment’s status and displays a screen with information about actions that can be taken on the assignment for that status. This applies to all assignment statuses except for Rejected which is not accessible via RC Mobile. The actions screen will look like the images below:

US 3861 – RCM – AR for MC Asset Types Whether during assignment creation, or at the time of Asset Recovery task completion, if the “Motorcycle”, “Motorcycle – Dirt”, or “Motorcycle - Street” type is selected for the Asset Type dropdown, motorcycle-specific AR questions and AR Photos task will be enabled. The specific areas that have been modified are as follows:

1. The Access to Interior question will be defaulted to “Yes” and will not be editable. 2. If damage was reported, the Airbags Deployed question will be disabled.

o Both the above described changes will also apply on the Pre-Recovery Evaluation task.



3. The Additional Recovery Questions sections will be included in this type of AR. 4. The photos task will contain the following required images:

o Front: Center o Side: Left Side o Rear: Center o Side: Right Side o VIN o Steering Column o Odometer o Gas Tank o Engine o Seat

Damage Photo – added to the end of the list. If one damage photo is added, an additional damage photo item will be added to the list allowing you to upload more damage photos. This will occur until a maximum of 8 damage photos are taken.

US 3862 – RCM – AR for Power Sport Whether during assignment creation, or at the time of Asset Recovery task completion, if the “ATV” or “Snowmobile” type is selected for the Asset Type dropdown, power sport specific AR questions and AR Photos task will be enabled. The specific areas that have been modified are as follows:

1. The Access to Interior question will be defaulted to “Yes” and will not be editable. 2. The Airbags Deployed question will be disabled.


3. The Additional Recovery Questions sections will be included in this type of AR.



4. The photos task will contain the following required images:

o Front: Center o Left Side View o Rear: Center o Right Side View o VIN o Steering Column o Odometer o Gas Tank o Engine o Seat

An additional damage photo will be appended at the end of the photo list. If you take a damage photo, another damage line item will be made available.

US 3863 – RCM – AR for Watercraft Whether during assignment creation, or at the time of Asset Recovery task completion, if “Watercraft” is selected on the Asset Type dropdown, watercraft-specific AR questions and AR Photos task will be enabled. The specific areas that have been modified are as follows:

1. The Access to Interior question will be defaulted to “Yes” and will not be editable. 2. The Airbags Deployed question will be omitted.


3. The Additional Recovery Questions sections will be included in this type of AR.



4. The photos task will contain the following images:

o Front: Center - Required o Side: Left Side View - Required o Rear: Center - Required o Side; Right Side - Required o HIN - Required o Steering Column - Required o Odometer - Required o Gas Tank - Required o Engine – Required o Seat – Required o Registration Numbers – Optional o Intake Grate – Optional o Lanyard - Optional o Jet Nozzle/Trim - Optional

An additional damage photo will be appended at the end of the photo list. If you take a damage photo, another damage line item will be made available.

US 4044 – Memory clean up refactoring The size of the icons used within the Photo Capture screen on the Asset Recovery Photos and Pre-Asset Recovery Photos tasks within RC Mobile has been reduced in size based on the pixel density of the device being used. Below are the two new levels of density along with the sizes that will correspond with them:

• Standard density: 80x80 dpi • XHDPI: 120x120 dpi.

This change was made to make the application more efficient in its system memory usage when taking and processing images. Since many devices take very high-resolution images, the memory gains produced by this change will help the application have more temporary system memory



available when the high-resolution images are being transferred to the server, reducing the likelihood of out of memory exceptions.

US 4306 – RCM – Smart Update Smart updates are time-stamped, geo-stamped updates that provide confirmation to clients that the corresponding address was run by a vendor’s adjuster. When a client has Smart Updates enabled on their assignments, and an adjuster from one of their vendor companies approaches an address on an assignment, they can quickly create an update using Smart Updates functionality.

When an assignment is enabled for auto updates, an adjuster can open it on RC Mobile and tap Quick Update on the Assignment Detail screen.

RC Mobile does distance calculation based on the Client’s established distance qualifications and the adjuster’s geo-location to determine whether the update qualifies for a Smart Update. Below is some information on the types of statuses you may encounter while attempting to register a Smart Update.

Distance Failure If the adjuster is outside the allowable distance as established by the client from the address RC Mobile will display the Distance Failure screen.

The text on the screen will inform you of your distance as compared to the distance allowance. You cannot register a Smart Update for this assignment yet. Tap Got it. You will be taken to the Quick Update screen where you can create that type of update for the assignment if so desired.



Device Location Failure A device location failure occurs when the assignment is eligible for a Smart Update, but the Location Services are turned off on your device. You will need to turn your device’s Location Services on to register a Smart Update.

You will be required to answer one question: “Do you want to turn on Location Services for this app?” If you tap Yes, you’ll be taken to your device’s Settings screen to turn on Location services. Whenever you turn Location Service on Smart Updates will be enabled on the device. If you tap No, the Device Location Failure notification screen will be disabled for 24 hours on your device. You will be taken to the Quick Update screen where you can create that type of update for the assignment if so desired.

Address Location Failure An address location failure occurs when the assignment is eligible for a Smart Update, but the selected address is missing geo-location (latitude and longitude) coordinates.

Tap Understood. You will be taken to the Quick Update screen where you can create that type of update for the assignment if so desired.



Smart Update Success When Smart Updates are enabled on an assignment, you have Location Services enabled on your device, there is geo-location information on the address that is being run, and you are within the allowable distance as established by the Client, a Smart Update will be registered for the address and you will see the following confirmation screen.

Tap Great! No further update action is required, and you will be redirected to the Assignment Detail screen for the assignment.

US 4571 – RCM – Add Company Name for POE Address (Test) If provided during the time of assignment creation, Company Name information for a debtor’s work address is displayed in the Addresses screen of the assignment in RC Mobile.

US 5297 – RCM – Modify Asset Search Result Incomplete Queue Additional information has been added to the records on the Incomplete Assignments screen to make it easier to find accounts for assets without having to open the assignment. The new information is as follows:

• Last 6 of the VIN • Make • Model



US 5333 – RCM – Modify Damage Location for MC/Power Sport (Other) and Watercraft Types New damage locations have been added to the Motorcycle, Power Sport, and Watercraft Asset Recovery forms. The new locations are as follows:

• Motorcycle (all types) and Power Sport assets: o Steering Column o Engine o Gas Tank

• Watercraft assets: o Steering Column o Jet Nozzle/Trim o Intake Grate

US 5299 – RCM – Change PD Notification Date/Time When completing the AR Police Info section of the Asset Recovery action, you must select the checkbox labeled, “I have validated that the PD Date and Time is correct.

If you attempt to continue to the next screen without selecting the checkbox, the following message dialogue will display:



Defects D4511 – RCM – AR Custom Questions multi select PDF error Addressed an issue that was causing custom AR questions to display incorrectly on the printable PDF form when the action was completed on RCM. This was not occurring for the same process on RCO.

D4514 – RCM – PP Redemption defect A 3 second delay has been added to the PP Redemption action to prevent users from being able to open multiple instances of the of the form.

D4515 – RCM – PP Redemption UI upload and complete issue Tightened up the procedure that saves images when taking the Photo ID image on the PP Redemption task’s main screen. Users are now prevented from tapping Complete and taking additional photos, which is what was occurring previously.

D4516 – RCM – iOS PP Redemption Signature Capture issue Addressed a design issue that was keeping users from confirming a signature capture because the screen would scroll unexpectedly.

D4683 – RCM – AR Modification, access to Interior locked on regular assets Made a change to the logic that governs the Asset Recovery Modification screen to ensure that when you are processing a modification for an asset with a type of “Automobile-Car”, or “Automobile-Light Truck – SUV”, to ensure that the, “Can you access interior?” question displays properly. Previously this selection was disabled and did not allow for the completion of the form.

D4707 – RCM – PP Redemption Aesthetic changes were made on the main screen of the PP Redemption task to ensure that the Next button is displayed properly in both the portrait and landscape modes.

D4708 – RCM – Android Post Recovery Signature page issue Addressed aesthetic issues on the signature screen on the Personal Property, Asset Delivery/Pick Up, and Redemption Order that were causing the disclaimer text to not be fully displayed.

D4712 – RCM – RC – Special Asset type Damage error (Boat & MH) The Recovery Connect Web Service (RCWS) has been modified to exclude the requirement for damage locations on the Boat and Motor Home Pre-Recovery Evaluation when you select that the asset was damaged. Previously this was preventing users from creating the Pre-Recovery Evaluation form. Now when damage photos are taken, they will be uploaded to the assignment with the damage photo type.

D4732 – RCM – Unable to edit selected Recovery address The Asset Recovery action has been modified so that when a user selects a recovery address on the screen, it can be edited to give users the ability to correct errors in address information.



D4775 – RCM – PD Addresses with Return in line 2 unable to save AR form Addressed a “System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException” error that was being caused when PD addresses had return spaces after them rather than spaces.

D4781 – RCM AR questions License Plate field not restricted The License Plate field in RC Mobile have been limited to 10 characters. Previously the field was limited to 50 characters.

D5023 – RCM – Specialty Asset Types “Damage Photo” error Modified damages photos to address an issue that was causing damage photo items to be added without actual images being taken. Now users will see an error dialogue when they attempt to retake a damage photo.

D5402 – RCM – App Pricing Description Correction The Fees description text on the RC Mobile App item on the App Exchange has been adjusted to read, “By License @ $4.95/Month or $1/Recovery”.
