IntroductionRayFlow is a powerful workflow process management tool with the ability to support diverse workflowprocesses. RayFlow’s ability to be customized at the level of a user`s needs and requirements makes it one ofthe most efficient and user-friendly workflow management tools.

RayFlow is based on a client-server architecture in which all the information, data, and configuration is stored onthe RayFlow server and users work from this server remotely through the RayFlow web and Windows basedclients.

With this release of RayFlow web console, the console has been augmented to include various new and usefulfeatures like, Management View for SLA editor, Export and Import of .ics files, and others. Furthermore, with acommitment to continuously improve the quality of our products, specific concerns related to distinctfunctionalities have been addressed and certain functionalities modified.

New FeaturesOptional Persistent Login Authentication

Taking into consideration the security guidelines that some of our customers have to comply with, the RayFlow“Keep me signed in” feature has been made optional. This feature can be configured to be activated ordeactivated through the Basic Configuration page. When activated, the user can specify the number of daysafter sign in where the login details will be automatically deleted.

Management View for SLA Editor

The Schedules page has been extended to include the SLA Editor Management view. Within this view, theuser can choose to either include or exclude a certain phase or a status within that phase, for SLA calculation.

RayFlow My Profile

My Profile view of RayFlow shows the list of Tasks, Appointments, and Notifications that are assigned,scheduled, and received respectively for the logged in user. Previously, this view could only be expanded toshow the items by using the Show more option and there was no possibility to collapse this view once it wasexpanded. Now, the Show less option has been added, which when selected collapses the expanded view toits original state, and the view only shows the last five items in those respective categories.

In addition to the Show less option, the Tooltip element has been added to the My Profile view. With the new-found visibility of this addition, a user can see the details relating to a listed item by simply hovering the pointerover it.

Enhanced Email Template Editor

The Email Template editor of RayFlow has been extended with new additional placeholders. The newplaceholders include:

$TASK_ID$ - Unique Identifier of the active task

$PACKAGE_ID$ - Unique identifier of the active package

$RAYFLOW_PACKAGE_LINK$ - Direct HTML link to the active package.

Package Duplication

Users now have the ability to clone packages between different projects. Utilizing this feature requires a bi-directional approval for package cloning within the projects. This approval is given via a checkbox availableunder the Advanced tab of the Administration page. Once the permission to clone packages is set, the userneeds to map the data fields belonging to the projects.

Export and Import of .ics Files

With this release, the user has the ability to export and import appointment(s) to and from RayFlow as iCalenderdata file (.ics). The options to export and import the file are added to the Appointments page of RayFlow.

Package Path in Basic Configuration

A new configuration option “Package Path” has been added to the Basic Configuration page. The optionconsists of a drop-down list, listing all the data fields within the logged in project. A user selects the data fieldfrom the list that will contain the path of the application undergoing the packaging process. This configuration isused by the RayFlow desktop client, to recognize and use the path for auto-populating certain data fields.

Password Change Notification

Enhancing RayFlow from the security point of view, a password change notification is now shown to the newlycreated user, notifying them to change the initial password set by the RayFlow administrator.

Project Title in the Browser

To help a user easily switch between different projects while working on them at the same time, the projectname is now shown in the browsers tab.

Resolved IssuesFollowing issues have been fixed in this release of RayFlow web console:

Project Selection

The tool icon for the Project Selection item in the RayFlow console tree has been changed to match itsexpected functional behavior.

Add Value button in Data Fields Editor

Add Value button allows a user to add values to data fields of type drop-down and drop-down multi.After adding values to such data fields, the Add Value button was no more available when trying to re-edit those data fields.

Add button on Custom Fields page

After adding a new custom field in the Custom Fields page, the Add button was no longer available.The page was needed to be reloaded, to get the button back.

Custom Fields got deleted

On the custom field’s page, when a user clicked upon the gear icon and then de-selected some of thecustom data fields, after saving the changes, all the custom fields were deleted.

Accessing the Schedules page

When a user selected the Schedules item from the RayFlow console tree, an internal server error wasthrown.
