The BETT awards aim to:• Represent the needs of the education system.
• Reward vibrant products that support innovation and personalising learning.
• Stimulate the design, production and delivery of quality products, fit for purpose within the marketplace.
• Provide options for people who want to buy innovative products.
• Reward inclusive and accessible designs.
Judging criteria include:

Products should be…• Innovative
• creative
• inclusive
• educational
• motivational
• content-rich
• extremely user-friendly (intuitive).

• Cross-curricular (if relevant or possible)?
• Accessible to many?
• Looks good?
The challenge today…
Pro or con?
• Learners who’ve ‘seen it all’
• Learners who can probably use technology better than the
teacher
• Death by software/content
• Funding.
