JUNIOR SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENTS 2019-20

Raunak Singh Dadiala of Class III and Naveya Jain of Class IV bagged the Second Prize

in the poster making competition on the topic ‘AI- The Future of Education’ in the Inter

school computer competition organized by Bal Bharti Public School, Pusa Road.

Rishi Saigal of Class III was awarded Champion Trophy in his category in the 5th

International Brainobrain Festival organized in Dubai.

DPS Vasant Kunj bagged the 3rd Prize in the event ‘Act the Talk Enactment’ organized

by Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School. Diya Relia of Class V and Rishi Saigal of

Class IV presented a scene from the English Classic – The Christmas Carol by Charles

Dickens.

The Junior Cricket team of DPS Vasant Kunj brought laurels to the school by winning

the Zonal Cricket Tournament in the under – 0 category organized by the Directorate of

Education.

Aanvi Singh Rana of Class V &Aadya Singh Rana of Class IV won a gold medal each in

International Open Taekwondo Championships 2019 held in Seoul, South Korea

Aarush Tiwari of Class III bagged the 1st position in the Artisitic Category, in the

National level Royal challenger Roller Skating Championship 2019 organised by Roller

Sports Association.

Students of Class V won the Zonal Badminton Tournament in the Mini Category

organised by the Directorate of Education held at Vasant Valley School.

Students of Class IV won the Zonal Lawn Tennis Championship in the Mini Category

organised by Directorate of Education at Air Force Jubilee School.

Aadya Tiwari of Class IV and Minerva of Class V bagged the 3rd prize in the Spell Bee

Event in Interschool Mod Promethean Fest, organised by Modern School, Vasant Vihar.

"The Junior school of DPS Vasant Kunj brought laurels to school by securing 5th

position in the Ramanujan Interschool Mathematics Competition held in February, 2019,

conducted by Modern School, Vasant Vihar.

Turtle Warz event in Nexus 2019, Interschool IT Competition organized by DPS Greater

Noida.

Naveya Jain, Adya Tewari, Ankit Raj, Khushi Taneja and Avani Singal of Class IV

bagged the 3rd prize in 'A tale with a twist' event in the Interschool Cultural Fest 'Aroma'

organised by Delhi Police Public School.

AahanDabas of Class III secured 3rd position in 25m Freestyle event and 3rd position in

25m Breast stroke event at Paul George Global School Aquatic Meet.

The school team won the award for the Best Props in the Inter DPS Zonal Dance Festival

2019, Zone II held at DPS Indirapuram.

Sanvi Sharma of Class IV won a consolation prize in the Hindi Debate Competiton held

at DPS Mathura Road.

Diya Relia and Rishi Saigal of Class IV bagged the 3rd prize in the event 'Act the Talk:

Enactment' organized by Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School.

Aanvi Singh Rana of Class V bagged the 3rd prize in the Inter School Recitation

Competition held at Mount. St. Mary School.

Anishika Minocha of Class V and Mishika Choudhary of Class IV won the consolation

prize in Inter School English Debate Competition organised by DPS Mathura Road.

Devanshi Nagpal of Class V and Avni Tyagi of Class IV won the 1st prize for Inter

School Buno Kahani Competition held at Modern School Vasant Vihar.

Veda Kumar of Class V secured 1st Position in Inter School Moody Monologue

Competition organised by DPS Vasant Vihar.

Expressions India organised National Talent Olympiad for the children with special

needs on 19th February, 2020 at Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai. 20 children from DPS

Vasant Kunj participated in the event.

The event gave an opportunity to the children with special needs to showcase their talent

in various cultural and literary activities conducted for them.

Jiya Sahni of Class V won the Exemplary prize in Western Dance.

Govind Dewan of Class V won the Exemplary prize in Essay Writing.

Divya Yadav of Class V won the outstanding prize in Singing.

Yash Kumar of Class VI won the Exemplary in 80m Race.

Amir Khan of Class VII won Meritorious prize in 80m Race.

Ansh Malik of Class VII won Exemplary prize in Obstacle Race.

All the participants enjoyed participating in their respective events. It was a great

learning experience for all.
