ODU Screw cannot be fixed at Adapter plate due to antenna
assembly. This is Antenna assembly.

ODU Screw cannot be fixed at Adapter plate due to antenna assembly.
Before After
For Adjusting the required space for Fitting Huawei ODU, Side Nut(s) of Antenna Assembly (which holds Antenna) are loosened & Antenna Assembly is shifted slightly towards left.
Although Huawei ODU gets Mated Perfectly with Adapter Plate, the Side Nut (which holds the Antenna) remains unscrewed with 2-3 threads.
Final Conclusion & Suggestion : 1. Hindrance caused by Antenna Assembly in Mating of Adapter Plate & ODU us overcome by shifting
the Antenna Assembly towards left by loosening the Antenna Holding Nuts.2. Because of this arrangement little gap gets created & the Antenna Holding Nuts remains unscrewed
for 2-3 threads (THIS IS RIGHT NOW IMPLEMENTED WITH TEMPORARY CUSTOMER APPROVAL IN FIELD ON 2 LINKS OF PILOT RING @ RINGUS TOWN).
3. It is suggested to replace the Existing Antenna Holding Nuts with Longer Nuts / insert washers between Antenna Assembly & Adapter-ODU setup to make the gap uniform in both upper and lower Holding Nuts (SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED WITH CENTRAL TEAM’S APPROVAL).
4. This solution will be more time consuming as entire antenna will have to be dismantled.
Why Longer Nuts are Required to replace the Existing Antenna Holding Nuts :
These Antenna Holding NUTs remains unscrewed for 2-3 Threads & should be replaced by Galvanized Longer Nuts.
This Antenna Assembly is shifted Slightly towards left and Gap is created which should be covered up using Washers/Lock Nuts.
