Who Is Ratman?

Ratman’s real name is Billy Bobbins. When he was just a young boy, Billy’s parents were tragically killed. Eventually, Billy transformed into Ratman when he was bitten by an infected, mutated rat that was scavenging for left-over food from the bins outside ‘Mario’s Monster Meatballs’, the local Italian eatery.

Superpowers

Ratman can see perfectly in the dark, which is incredibly useful, since he is nocturnal. His adventures mostly take place under the ground; he is very good at finding people using his x-ray vision. He can also chew through absolutely anything at one million chews per minute! Since he loves to help the needy and bring about justice, Ratman uses his powers to save people who are trapped underground by gnawing his way to them. Ratman has an acute sense of smell which gives him the ability to detect the scent of danger. His nose has also been trained to identify the aroma of his nemesis, Roger Roarer, from up to 100

miles away.

Friends

When he was a youngster, Ratman found himself in an awful situation, scared and alone. Thankfully, he was kindly taken in by a lonely old man by the name of Eight, who used to make expensive suits for Billy’s father. Nowadays, Eight tailors Ratman’s superhero costumes and also cleverly invented the impressive, three- metre-long, invisible Ratmobile Super Tunneller. Ratman’s situation would have

Enemies

Even though Ratman has many allies, he is also faced with adversity. Ratman’s mortal enemy is the evil villain Roger Roarer, who killed Billy’s parents one dark winter’s night as they came out of the cinema. Roger then tried bulldozing Billy’s beloved cattle shed, used rat poison on Ratman and even once tried to blow up the Ratmobile Super Tunneller. He once even managed to capture Eight and demanded a £500,000 ransom for his release! The endless battle between these two can be tough; however, Ratman almost always comes out on top.

Ratman: A SuperheroWho Is Ratman?

Ratman’s real name is Billy Bobbins. When he was just a young boy, Billy became an orphan, helplessly abandoned on the streets to fend for himself after his parents were tragically killed. Eventually, Billy transformed into Ratman when he was bitten by an infected, mutated rat that was scavenging for left-over food from the bins outside ‘Mario’s Monster Meatballs’, the local Italian eatery.

Superpowers

Ratman can see perfectly in the dark, which is incredibly beneficial since he is nocturnal. His adventures mostly take place under the ground; he is very adept at finding people using his x-ray vision. In addition to this, he can also chew through absolutely anything – be it a fragile wire fence or a sturdy steel girder - at an astonishing rate of one million chews per minute! Due to his undying desire to help the needy and bring about justice, Ratman uses his powers to save people who are trapped underground by channelling and gnawing

his way to them. Whilst protecting the world, it is imperative that a superhero is able to detect danger, no matter how remote it may be. Consequently, he has an acute sense of smell which affords him the ability to detect the scent of danger. His nose has also been trained to identify the putrid aroma of his adversary, Roger Roarer, from up to 100 miles away.

alone. Thankfully, after being spotted wandering unaccompanied, he was kindly taken in by a lonely old man by the name of Eight, who coincidentally used to make expensive suits for Billy’s father. Nowadays, Eight tailors Ratman’s superhero costumes and also cleverly engineered the impressive, three-metre-long, invisible Ratmobile Super Tunneller. Undoubtedly, Ratman’s situation would have proved unendurable, had it not been for the kind intervention of Eight. Together, the pair live happily in a converted cattle shed.

Enemies

Even though Ratman has many allies, he is also faced with adversity. Ratman’s mortal enemy is the malevolent villain Roger Roarer, who callously killed Billy’s parents one dark winter’s night as they came out of the cinema. Remorselessly, Roger tried bulldozing Billy’s beloved cattle shed, used rat poison on Ratman and even once tried to blow up the Ratmobile Super Tunneller. He once even managed to capture Eight and demanded a £500,000 ransom for his release! The endless battle between these two can be tough; however, Ratman almost always comes out on top.
