Sports Presentation Evening 2015
Guest Speaker
Jon Moss 2015 FA Cup Final & Premier League referee
Jon Moss is a Select Group Referee, officiating on the Premier League, having done so since 2011.
Born in Sunderland, Moss played for his hometown team and Milwall at Academy standard, before taking up the whistle in 1988 as part of his A Level PE qualification. He took up refereeing fully in 1999, being promoted onto the National List of Football League referees in 2003, moving onto the Select Group in 2011.
At the end of last season, Jon's commitment and dedication paid off as he was selected to referee the FA Cup final between Liverpool and Aston Villa.
Jon visited RHS in 2014 to give a talk about ‘Respect’ to year 7 students and they enjoyed being able to spend time with a person who has shared football pitches with some of the most famous footballers in the world.
