Our Faculty
Diana (pronounced Deana) is the founder and Talent Director of Be Discovered Inc., now in its 15th year. Recently, Diana opened a Be Discovered office on Broadway.
Diana has booked and cast thousands of performers in films, commercials, stage shows, music videos, print ads & TV including “Thalia” on ‘The Next Step’. Diana has taught entertainment industry workshops at The Learning Annex, at the NBA’s Toronto Raptors Dance Pak workshops and at the On The Move Conference for emerging artists. She was a consultant for the National Film Board’s ‘Breakin In: The Making of a Hip Hop Dancer’, and sat on the board of directors at Dance Ontario.
Finally a teacher who understands what students need. Not only does he bring one of a kind energy, he motivated students like never seen before.
While in high demand to choreograph for emerging new artists, Ben continues to travel the world teaching master classes. His credits include: Dance Moms, Rent, Scrubs, Will.i.Am, One Republic, The AMA’s, MTV and “I know My Kid’s a Star” on VH1. Energetic, passionate and heartfelt come to mind when working with Ben. Whether it’s beginners learning choreography for the first time or advanced professionals working on musicality and rhythm matching, Ben’s routines offer perfect versatility to all dancers.
Liana’s versat i l i ty is what makes her such a valuable teacher, choreographer and dancer.
Liana has performed with Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, The Weeknd and has choreographed and danced for Ricky Martin. She has worked on The Voice, Footloose, Happy Feet 2, Seventeen Again, Glee, So You Think You Can Dance and Cirque Du Soleil. She appears in countless films, videos, stage shows and tours. Liana also inspires and helps dancers find happiness by taking care of their body with a healthy lifestyle and eating habits.
Be Discovered is made up of the Industry’s top leaders, choreographers, and coaches. Many professionals, agents, and photographers work with the Be Discovered dancers.

Gakenia is a member of L.A’s Contemporary Dance Company and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and American Idol. She has danced for Hilary Duff, The ALMA Awards and is currently in Britney Spears Las Vegas residency. Gakenia appears in many music videos, print ads, TV and film as well as Live and Stage Performances.
Mihran has toured the world with Madonna and Ricky Martin. He is a choreographer and artistic director on The Voice. He has choreographed for Selena Gomez and numerous Nickelodeon shows. He has also danced for Britney Spears, Black Eyes Peas and Rihanna. He appears in countless commercials, film and TV including Glee and Alvin and the Chipmunks. In addition to choreographing, Mihran is now directing.

TENTATIVEITINERARY
Since relocating to California, Chino has worked on many amazing jobs! From the intro to America’s Best Dance Crew, to Eminem, to JLo, to Transformers 3, to Dexter, and How I Met Your Mother, these are just a few of the jobs he has been blessed to be a part of! He originally started off as a bboy then eventually transitioned into other forms of dance including salsa. Excited to share his knowledge and passion with all those willing to learn! Each one teach one!
Misha is a young dancer/choreographer who has the experience and credits behind him of someone ten years his elder. Misha teaches on a regular basis at Millennium Dance Complex and Edge Performing Arts Center. He has choreographed for Justin Timberlake’s Future Sex Love Show, Hilary Duff’s Dignity Tour and Raven Symone’s Supernatural music video. Movie credits include Jackass 2, Clerks 2 and Center Stage 2. Misha has danced for Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Omarion, Christina Milian, Hilary Duff, Raven Symone and touring with Aaron Carter is what got him his start in the business.
Passionate artistic vision defines the inspirational and innovative movement of Jonathan “Stixx” Ruiz. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Ruiz lived out his “Hollywood dream” of professionally dancing, working with some of the industry’s elite, such as Eminem and Dr. Dre. Ruiz is currently assistant choreographer for Selena Gomez, artistic director/choreographer for upcoming artist, Adam Tyler, and Skechers forthcoming cartoon “Twinkle Toes.” He is also a resident instructor at International Dance Academy Hollywood (IDA). The unique works of Jonathan “Stixx” Ruiz infuse Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip-Hop, making his style a cornucopia of visual expression.

Dancers will take a break from workshops and classes to walk around the famous Las Vegas Strip. So much to see and do in this very exciting area. Like the soaring, choreographed Fountains of Bellagio, or ride the thrill rides at the top of the Stratosphere tower, take a stroll through Paris, New York and even an Egyptian Pyramid. Shopping is the icing on the cake in Vegas with 2 Premium Outlets as well as the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood & the Fashion Mall.
Train, dance and see shows in a 2nd desert city with Be Discovered and Hip Hop International’s world famous events. Meet dance friends and crews from all over the world and celebrate the urban dance culture.

Watch the world’s best battle it out on the floor. Battles include Locking, Popping & Breaking as well as the finals of the Hip Hop Championships. From the creators of America’s Best Dance Crew, this is like watching the show except live, with crews from all over the world.
