Rang was started 9 years ago by a few enthusiasts at IITB. We aim to

bring about and nourish the talent present in the student community.

We as one family organise various workshops and hands-on sessions

over the year on Sketching, Painting, Origami, Typography, Cartooning

and anything else you would like to learn. Also out of the box activi-

ties like T-shirt painting, road painting and even wall painting. And then

comes the 3 day extravaganza, a riot of colour andcreativity, our very

own annual art exhibition KALADARSHAN

where artworks and photographs of students done over the year are

exhibited. So come join us and give yourself a chance to express your

creativity.

RANGThe Fine Arts Club Of IIT Bombay

ORIGAMIThe goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished

sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use

of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Paper cutting and gluing

is usually considered kirigami. The number of basic origami folds is small,

but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs
