Let’s get started…Logging into our InternetWe use a company called Lightspeed systems to filter our internet. In order to receive internet access you must login to the system. You were given a set of login information from IT. Use that information to log in.

Logging into your Ranchochristian.org account

1. Go first to your web browser.

2. Type in the address bar: mail.ranchochristian.org.

3. Type in your user name and password given you from IT.

5. To compose an email click on the red button and compose your message.6. Detailed Rancho Mail training will be for a later session. So for now let’s move onto our Drive account.

Drive for creation and collaboration

Welcome to your Drive account. Your Drive account is where you will create, share and collaborate with peers, students or just a place to create and store your own documents. To get to your drive account while in your mail account click on the little squares to the right of your tool bar.

Google Interactive Training

School calendarOur school calendar will be shared with you online. You will find that calendar in your Google apps account were you found your Drive account. Click on those same small squares and find the Calendar icon.

Once you click on the calendar icon you will then see your Rancho Calendar.

Sites for your own web page

Many teachers like to upload videos that they have created or use as a tool to deepen understanding of a topic. Google Sites is just the spot for you to house your video lessons.

Logging into RenWeb

Renweb is where you will spend a majority of your time. This is our student management system or SMS. Each day you will take role, enter grades, lesson plans and homework. You must use either firefox or internet explorer as your web browser in order to get into renweb.

From either of those web browsers go to our web site and on the click on the yellow tool bar “FacultyWeb.”

Enter your district code from the sheet given to you by IT:

Enter your username and password:

Make sure “Faculty” is lit up:

Then click on “Login”
