Waiver of Premium**:If the insured person turns incapable to pay the remaining premiums in the event of financial difficulties due to an illness or accident, then the company not only waives off all future premiums but also keeps the policy features intact benefiting the insured person both on survival or other wise. For eg., Mr . X has a term of 20 years term for premium payment. After 10 years, if he is incapacitated for some reason, the insurance company will waive off premiums for the next 10 years. Key features of the plan: Cover starts from 30 years and goes on till 100 years or till one’s survival. After one’s life term, the policy can be passed on to the nominee, which in essence becomes like a property. In the event of a mishap within 22 years ie., policy paying term, the nominee gets the sum assured + the fund value. For eg., Mr. X is struck with a mishap after 10 years, the nominee gets the full sum assured + the fund value accrued for 10 years.Waiver of premium facility ensures the continuity of plan even if the policy holder turns incapacitated due to some reasons.
