This young, wonderful and ex-citing group of young ladies had a very competitive season despite a 2-7 (W-L). After a simple glance of the box scores one can see that this team hung tough throughout most games only to lose during the final two innings or less. Coach Jose Morales attributes this to their relative inexperience. However, the future shines very bright for this young squad. Most of the girls will be back next season including first baseman Sierra Deater who led the team with 3 home runs (one grand slam) and pitcher Kayla Casellas who had a walkoff hit, during the team’s final home game and struck out 8 players.
