BRITISH COUNCIL- ISA PROJECT (ENDANGERED SPECIES)
ACTIVITY – BROCHURE MAKING
The aim of this activity was to create awareness about the Endangered species and the significant impacts humans, diseases and the environment have on the habitats and lifestyle of these species.
Working in teams of 4-5, students will get a platform towards developing their task. Each of the learning experiences leading to the rich task will support students as learners and will be effective and useful for their task.
Students will relate this information and show their understanding though producing a facts sheet on their animal and an informative and persuasive brochure. Students will be able to develop understanding:
of why animals become endangered of why the chosen animal is endangered of what it meant to be extinct of how to create awareness campaigns to promote
endangered species of how to effectively communicate a message to an audience of how to use promotional materials to convey a message of what it means to be endangered
