VIDUAL DESIGN PIECES. IN 2011 WE WERE

EXHIBITED AT THE >QUBIQUE< DESIGN

SHOW IN BERLIN, THIS YEAR WE WERE REP-

RESENTED ON THE >SALONE DEL MOBILE<

IN MILAN, AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD

The small parapluie tables enriches the interior

with its love of the detail. Its design grapples

with the tension between object-nature and

context-expectation,

the sublime ‘releasement’ of the trick. The im-

pression of the fragile handle, like it could col-

lapse every second, reminds us of the transi-

ence of the objects we know - the objects that

made the modern world work. Playing with

these impressions, the table is simple but full of

character in the role it fulfills for the interior. In

its role within the domestic space, the table is

an homage to the absurdity of the everyday.

this is not an umbrella!

This chair that´s as comfortable as it is visible

striking, defines a space by its own symbolic

nature. You may sit on it, use it as a bookshelf,

or just leave it and treat it as an object. It is more

of a throne then a simple chair. The chair comes

as a chair with upholstery, or as a plain book-

shelf element with no upholstery.

Smart, simple,resistant!

The plywood series is a small family of club

furniture´s. It offers all aspects of relaxed gen-

erous sofa lounges, long, low and deep. The

plywood used in this series is recycled from

former art transportation crates and is light, re-

sistant and unique. Each piece is made out of

three wood sheets simply plugged together.

material is resistant, unique and elegant, ideal

One table, four tables, the triangle table is a

non-hierarchically dining table for up to 20 peo-

ple! Every place offers a new direction, creates

a unique situation at the table. This spices up

every long dinner, and guaranties a more social

environment.

Qubique 2011 / Berlin 45

The idea is to expose two equal furnitures, in two very diffrent materials. This underlines the importancy of the materialisation of the furniture. One is in a high-tech material, the other one in a very simple one. Aluminium as a high controversial resource corresponidng to the very simple and raw plywood. The idea of the installation is too compare the two public.
