OurMunicipalityhavealreadysubmittedtoKMDAofvalueRs2,57.05Crore.ItisexpectedthatitwillbeplacedinStateLevelMeetingon10.12.2016.

Proposalofthissurfacewaterschemeisasfollowing:SurfaceWaterwillbeliftedfromriverGangaandwillbedeliveredtotheproposedwatertreatmentplantatLaskarpur.

UnderGroundReservoirs

InthisschemetotalRajpur‐SonarpurMunicipalityareahasbeendividedinto23noseparatezones..EachzonewillhaveadedicatedERStoservethepopulationoftherespectivezone.Thereisone(1)number existingUGR (AtWardNo. 31) , another 3 nosUGRs is given proposed to pump the clearwatertotheERSs.).ZonewisedivisionaccordingtoUGRisgiveninDAGNo.JB/KMDA/RSM‐02Vol.2of thisDPR.UGRswill bedesignedasper IS:3370 latest versionandwill be constructedwithpilefoundation.

PradhanMantriAwasYojona(PMAY)aimsthat,providinghousingforallby2022whenthenationcomplete75yearsofitsindependence.Thepeopleofthemunicipality,theelectedCouncillors,thestaffmembers,thesurveyors,thetechnicalpersonshaveextendedtheirfullestcooperationinpreparingthewholeprocessofHousingforAllDPR,foryearof2015‐16.Outof178slums,44nosofslumsandits1334nos.beneficiariesareselectedforthe“BeneficiaryledConstruction”schemeforthisfinancialyear.ThetotalsanctionamountisRs.5400.03lakhasperrelevantdept&P.W.Dschedulerates.Theinfrastructuralexpenditurefortheyearof2015‐16,490.91lakh.ThetotalprojectcostisdistributedamongGovtOfIndia,GovtOfWestBengal,ULBandindividualbeneficiary.FundflowpatternisgivenbelowFundFlowforthehousingforall,2015‐16

Aswecanseefromthesepictures,thepresentconditionoftheseparksisnotverywell.So,thesearegoingtoberenovatedintoamodernageparkswithnewageinfrastructuresandfacilities.Theworkwillbestartedverysoon.

InaugurationofSolarSystematSonarpurLocalOfficeRooftop

ThenewSolarpowerGeneratingSystemwillbeinauguratedon10thFeb,2016inourMunicipalityattherooftopofSonarpurLocalOffice.HonorableMinisterinChargeMrShriManishGupta,Minister‐in‐charge,DepartmentofPower&NonConventionalEnergySources,Govt.ofWestBengalalongwith2MLAs,ChairmanofRajpur‐SonarpurMunicipalityDr.PallabDas,ViceChairmanSmtSantaSarkarandall the 5 CIC members will be present during the inauguration program. It is a on grid SolarConnectionSystem,whichisanonconventionalenergysource.Theenergysourceisoneofitskindinthis area. It is the first step in getting self sufficient in case of energy and this type of nonconventional, environment friendly energy sources are to be encouraged for pollution freesurroundings. Another advantage of this new system is that, the generated power will go to thedistributionlikeofWBSEDCLthroughnetmeteringsystem.Thiswillreducethecostofelectricity.

Blood donation is said to be the most valued service to mankind.Nothing is comparable to thepreciousness of humanblood.“The gift of blood is the gift of life.”Keeping thosewords inmind aBloodDonationCamphasbeenarrangedon11thDec,2015.TheTotalarrangementhavebeendonebyMunicipalAuthorityandRajpur‐SonarpurMunicipalityBiswakarmaPujaCommittee.LifeCareBloodBankwasengagedtocollecttheblood.Thisyearatotalof70peopledonatedtheirblood.Everyyearthisblooddonationcamphasbeenarranged.

EmploymentthroughSkillTraining&Placement(EST&P)

In collaboration with State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) and Rajpur‐SonarpurMunicipality has been arranged a placement oriented Vocational Training Course, ‘NursingAides’bySocietyforSchoolofMedicalTechnology(SSMT).Thetrainingwascommencedon16/06/2014 and completed on 10/01/2015. After completion of course an interview wasarranged at B.P. Poddar Hospital & Research Centre, 71/1, Humayun Kabir Sarani, NewAlipore,Block‐G,Kol‐53.Thisrenownedcalledourtrainees(NursingAides)20(Twenty)nos.forinterview.Fourteentraineesouttwentyhavebeenselectedafterinterview.Thisfourteenhavejoinedthisreputedhospitalon23/01/2015.

Jai‐Hindauditorium,oneofthefineststateofartinourstate,hasbeeninauguratedlessthanoneyearfromnow.But it has alreadybecomeoneof thebiggest focusof attraction for art lovers. Plentyofcultural programs have been arranged in this little period. Paschimbanga Natya Academy hasarrangedsome famousdramas likeAinsiddho,Charu,FMMahanagar,AjmonCheyecheandSundorBibirPalaDuring24thNov,2015to29thNov,2015.
