• People know Rajnikant Patel BSE as a person playing a stellar role in revolutionizing the way Indians invest in the stock market. Not many people however, know the humble beginnings of Rajnikant Patel. Coming from a humble background, Rajnikant climbed the corporate ladder by sheer dint of hard work. He had an inherent ability to do banking. This is a common trait among the Patel community. After a brief stint in a couple of nationalized banks, he joined the Reserve bank of India for an extended run of 13 years. He brought the concept of automation and online surveillance into the working of the BSE thereby bringing in a sense of transparency in dealings. This resulted in the safeguarding of the investor’s money a great deal. He has also been instrumental in the remodeling of the BSE Training Institute from a localized institute to one of international standards. This made the training Institute a profit-making center as well.


• He has the credit of converting the BSE into a limited company. He also has the credit of achieving ISO status to the BSE. These are unprecedented events in India. Hence, people started referring to him as Rajnikant Patel BSE.


• This was as far as his working talents are concerned. He had the ability to excel in other activities as well. One such trait is public speaking. He is an acknowledged master of this art. Having delivered a host of keynote addresses at various conferences all over the world, he has proved his capabilities.
