6.5.2 Two examples of review of teaching learning process
The IQAC has been instrumental in developing and implementing various academic reforms
since its inception.
IQAC meetings are conducted at regular basis to review teaching learning process,
methodologies and learning outcomes from the activities organized by the institute.
Following are the two examples of review of teaching learning process.
1) Review of Academic Monitoring system through Regular Meeting of
IQAC - Attendance, Assignment checking, Course file completion, ERP
Update, lesson plan etc.
2) Online Feedback system for students

Institute has formed Academic Monitoring Committee (AMC) which consists of
Director, Head of Department, MBA-I Faculty Class Coordinator and MBA-II Faculty
Class Coordinator.
At the beginning of every semester HOD inform all staff members regarding their duties
and responsibilities.AMC conducts frequent meetings .The control charts are prepared by
HOD to follow up if academic duties are followed by all teachers which includes
following activities.

file completion, ERP Update, lesson plan etc.
Objective Academic Monitoring Committee:
To provide clear guidelines to all teaching staff regarding curriculum planning and
implementation
To develop a mechanism for academic monitoring to ensure effective implementation of
academic planner.
ACADEMIC MONITORING COMMITTEE FLOWCHART
Duties and responsibilities of Academic Monitoring Committee
To conduct regular meeting 1. Before the beginning of semester - for academic planning

To prepare of academic calendar every year
To prepare time table for MBA-I year and MBA-II year
To provide guidelines regarding preparation of course files to all faculty members
To provide guidelines regarding ERP data entry and check whether all teaching staff
updates ERP regularly.
AMC keep a track of ERP software is used by students and teachers on regular basis for
Attendance, Time table, Assignments, lesson plan, online examination question paper
preparation.
To form annual committees and distribute the portfolio among all staff members
To allocate subjects for teaching among all staff members
To distribute the workload as per norms of Savitribai Phule Pune University/AICTE
To keep a track of syllabus completion within stipulated time period
To prepare monitoring sheet to track the progress of academic activities.
To provide guidelines regarding mentorship programme.
To appoint the mentors and allocate mentees
To keep track of students absentees and counsel them through mentoring process.
To ensure that teachers and students are using ICT facilities for smart classroom facility
for teaching learning.
To check whether all lectures are conducted as per the time table
Examinations results are analyzed remedial session are planned if required.
To adjust missing lectures
To write minutes of meeting of academic monitoring committee
To organize various co curricular events relevant to MBA programme
To submit record of academic monitoring committee to IQAC
IQAC coordinates and monitor effectiveness of academic monitoring committee which helps in
maintaining robustness, academic integrity and discipline in teaching learning . Given below are
the minutes of meeting of Academic Monitoring Committee (AMC)
Feedback is an essential part of education and training programmes. Institute gives importance to
students’ feedback for bringing improvements in academic and administrative areas. Feedback
increases self-awareness, offers guidance and encourages development in the institute. Every
semester Institute collects and analyses feedback of students about teacher, MBA Syllabus,
Concurrent Evaluation and overall MBA Programme.
Before academic year 2018-19, the system of feedback was taken manually from different
stakeholders. Institute has recently implemented iCloud ERP system. Students are provided with
login IDs and passwords. In academic year 2018-19 online feedback was taken from the
students. Online Feedback system includes following type of feedback.
