MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Communication Technology or equivalent o 10 years’ experience in an ICT environment o IT people management: resource allocation and effective resource pooling
management experience, o IT: infrastructure, service and support as well as application software deployment
and support. o Management experience with IT : Infrastructure, Service and Support as well as
Application/Software deployment and Support o Hands-on experience with IT, Networking, Service and Support,
Application/Software deployment o Skills to coordinate corporate functions at a Senior and Executive level working
towards a common goal/outcome. o Technical competency in IT OSI layer understanding, hands-on and management
thereof at all technical levels DUTIES /KEY RESULT AREAS:
o Strategic : Participate in strategic and operational governance processes o Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve goals by fostering innovation o Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organisational structure that supports the
needs of business. o Establish IT departmental goals, objectives and operating procedures. o Ensure that IT infrastructure and services are designed and maintained in a
manner that will at all times match the growth expectations of the organization and its clients, both locally and internationally, without excessive overheads or wasted spare capacity, including making sure that deployment capacity, system designs, maintenance know-how and control, matches the rollout requirements of new products and services.

o Managing operational systems that will ensure that users’ expectations are met and exceeded in terms of reliability, availability, and integrity of data and IT services including managing a best practice regime of monitors, process, policies and procedures that will meet and exceed the requirements of the various IT Standards.
o Procure, design and maintain enterprise systems that will ensure the efficient operations of the business, including NIMS, EDMS, Billing, Telephony and Call Centre Systems, and ensuring that such systems are deployable across all aspects and branches of the operations, including customer portals and access points into our NIMS systems.
o Responsible to put in place accountable structures and procedures that will ensure the company ICT risks and exposure is aligned with industry best practices and policies. This includes planning and maintaining adequate HA, DR, Backup, Archiving and Business Continuity plans, and processes and infrastructure.
