Logan St.
The Noblesville 8th Street railroad crossing replacement from south of S.R. 32 to Logan Street will
consist of two phases of construction. The work will require closing portions of 8th street, Logan
Street, and SR 32 to complete the work. The first phase will construct the railroad crossing from Logan
Street to just north of the SR 32 crossing. The second phase will construct from just north of SR 32
crossing to just south of the SR 32 crossing.

All earth shoulders, median areas, and cut and fill slopes shall be plain or mulch seeded except
where sodding is specified.
The final cross sections of the grading contract will be the original cross sections of the paving contract. However, partial or complete
cross sections shall be taken if necessary to determine the actual excavation quantities.
Existing asphalt pavement located outside the construction limits, between Sta. OO+00 and Sta. 00+00
shall be removed as directed.
The quantity of Peat "Excavation" as shown on the plans has been estimated on the basis of theoretical
cross-sections by using treatment of existing fills, treatment by removal, or treatment by displacement
where each treatment applies.
The paper relocation will be cross sectioned by the Engineer before construction.
