REGISTRATION INFORMATION:Initial Registration Fee: $25.00 First Time Initial Registration Fee is due at the time of registration for those who have not previouslyparticipated in our Aftercare or Camp programs.

First Month’s Tuition: First Month’s tuition is due at the time of registration. A deposit of one month is also required at the time ofregistration if you do not participate in our bank draft option. The deposit will be used for your child’s last month of tuition.

Membership: Your child will need to have a membership to register for SACC programs (See Page 4 for membership options). We willbe offering a Free Family Membership to all full time (5 day) SACC participants that sign-up for bank draft.

The Y supports youth in the growth of positive character attributes through the development of strong relationships within programsthat sustain both academic and the physical development of all youth in order to enhance lifelong health and well being in a welcomingand engaging environment.

SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE

Healthy USince 2007, each of our After Caresites has utilized the Healthy Uprogram. Healthy U is a behaviorchange program that helps preventobesity in children by offeringnutrition education and physicalactivity. Healthy U utilizes theCATCH (Coordinated Approach toChild Health) curriculum and hasproven to have a positive impacton children ages 5 – 13 yrs. CATCHemphasizes the importance oflifestyle changes and helps youthlearn positive behaviors which willcarry on into adulthood.

Teen/Adult classesVisual Arts I (Age 13 and up): This class combines the best ofdrawing and painting into one course. Learn and sharpen your skillsto apply paint to canvas. ADAPTIVE SWIM LESSONSSwim lessons that are modified for children or adults withspecial needs. The class lesson plans are tailored to meet thespecific needs of each individual. Classes may be one-on-one,or in a small group setting depending on the swimmer’s ability.Please contact the Aquatic Director to inquire about adaptiveswim lesson availability.

CERTIFICATION COURSESPlease contact the Aquatic Director for class availability or tofind out how you can host a CPR/AED or First Aid class at yourfacility! We offer American Red Cross Certification courses for:lifeguarding, CPR, AED, oxygen and first aid. Participants mustbe 15 years old, pass the Pre- Test and be in attendance for100% of the course.

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONSPrivate swim lessons are for adults and children and will allowyou to work one on one with an instructor to accomplish yourgoals. Instructors may be requested and can focus on basicswimming skills, competitive strokes, or water safety. The dayand time of the lesson is scheduled to accommodate your busyschedule. COMPETITIVE STROKE CLINICSwimmers will work on all four competitive strokes, as well asstarts, turns and finishes. Our main focus is on stroketechnique and mechanics rather than distance. All Rapids,Riptides, high school and club swimmers are welcomed. INSTANT FUN. JUST ADD WATER.We offer year-round open recreational swim areas as well as lap lanes for our full members and their guests in our heated 6 lanepool. Please refer to the pool schedule for availability. Youth ages 12 & younger must be accompanied by an adult in the pool andlocker room areas at all times. Swimmers that are 8 years old & under must be accompanied by an adult in the pool within arm’sreach, unless they are able to pass the shallow water swim test. Youth ages 5 & up must utilize the appropriate locker room for theirgender, or the family locker room.

PARENT/CHILD SWIM LESSONS (Ages 6 months- 3 years)The instructor will work with parents so that they arecomfortable instructing their child in a fun and safeenvironment. The child will become adjusted to the waterwhile being introduced to basic swimming skills. PIKE (Ages 3-5 years)This class is great for water adjustment for the beginnerswimmer, who may have little or no water experience. ADULT GROUP EXERCISE

30: This class is a 30 minute continuousworkout with a 10minute warm up and10minute cool down. It consists of3 minutes of Strength, 2 minutes ofCardio and 1 minute of Ab exercisesrepeated over and over.

BOOT CAMP This class includes cardioto increase your heart rate and strengthtraining exercises designed to reduce bodyfat and increase stamina.

CORE AND ABS: Our entire core of isthe physical foundation for everything wedo in life, not only will you work on your6-pack, but you will set up your body foroverall health and injury prevention. Thefocus will be on the upper and lower abs,oblique’s, back muscles used in functionalmovements, as well as the hips and glutesto develop better balance.

CONDITIONING KETTLE BELL: Thisclass will teach you the basic movementsof Kettle bell exercises. These exercisesbuild strength, cardiovascular endurance,and increase grip strength. Thesemovements engage the entire bodyat once.

HIP HOP CARDIO: A fun cardio classthat combines hip hop and aerobic movesto hit songs from the 90s through today!

KICKBOXING: This cardio classfeatures boxing and upper and lower bodykickboxing moves. A great total body work

PILATES: Pilates is a body conditioningroutine that helps build flexibility, musclestrength, and endurance in the legs,abdominals, arms, hips, and back. Itputs emphasis on spinal and pelvicalignment, breathing, developing astrong core or center, and improvingcoordination and balance.

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR DIABETES“A Diabetes Self-Management Program”This is a six week workshops series that takes place once a weekfor 2½ hours and facilitated by two trained Peer Leaders and/orMaster Trainers. The curriculum used is the Stanford modelDiabetes Self-Management Workshop (DSMP) and includesself-managed behavior modification and coping strategies toenable participants to manage their chronic conditions, diabetes,medications and increase physical activity levels. Each participant(one per household) in the workshop receives a Free copy of thecompanion book, Living a Healthy Life With Chronic Conditions,4th Edition.

There is no fee for a participant and the program is open tothe public. Staff from Healthcare Quality Strategies, Inc willlead all classes.
