ULTRON SpINNINg - LUReSA series of real all rounder rods for lures! The unmistakeable ‘fast’ action provides the optimal tool for shads, jigs and tubes, but also has plenty of power for fishing crankbaits, spoons, spinners, jerks or surface lures. The high-end blank transmits the essential vibrations of the lure. Each fine contact with the bottom and the most delicate takes will feel like an electric shock down the rod and into the butt section.

Sr = SHallow runnerLures with the SR logo are “Shallow runners”. They have a very small and flat diving lip, so they will only move in the upper water layers down to 1 or 2 meters but not deeper. They are perfect for fishing shallow waters or when the predators are hunting in the upper water layers.

SSr = SuPer SHallow runnerLures with the SSR logo are “Super Shallow Runners”. They have a tiny diving lip and will swim just a few centimeters under the surface. Slick Stick dr/SdrIf you prefer fishing a slim floating wobbler, instead of a suspending SR version, than the DR or even the SDR is for you. Thanks to the specially formed diving lip (much the same as an ice spoon) it dives quickly to depths from 4.5 to over 6 metres. The steel balls inside the body are positioned in such a way that should the lure get stuck on the bottom, the rear end of the wobbler will lift up and the Slick Stick will free itself.

Most Japanese crankbaits are very detailed copies of marine or non-native prey fish, however the Hitcher, realistically imitates native fish in colour, shape and swimming action.

Perch are known to be one of the preferred prey species of pike and was the original model for this crankbait series which gives the lure the typically humpback, slightly compact shape. The Hitcher is available in nine different types and many different sizes.

gonzo Sr/drIf you want a crankbait which looks just like a prey fish – you have just found it, the ‘Gonzo’!

With the Gonzo we offer a slightly plump, hard lure with a teaser tail in two versions: SR – shallow runner and DR – deep runner. The teaser tail is a very special feature on both Gonzos as it divides the crankbait into two segments, but doesn’t provide the typical motion of two-segment baits. It actually behaves like a single bait with the tail creating a very fast movement and a highly attractive simulation of a prey fish. In addition to this, there is a red treble hook that acts as the focal point for attacks which has been moved from the belly to the tail section to produce a better hooking ratio.

Aggressive flanking lures (super flanker) like our Jimmy are one of the best choices for pike fishing. The Jimmy 2 is

12cm long and a real extreme flanker, ideal for spinning or twitching, but also suited for trolling. Its high body imitates an injured prey fish, while the inner rattles produce a deep, steady frequency, which is very attractive to big predators. Every time the lure is twitched, the loud rattle is activated. Even predators, which are lazy, not hungry, or are just following the lure, react with an aggressive attack.

Like all RAGE lures in this series the Jimmy 2 is made of a super robust hard plastic with secure eyes and Japanese split rings plus Powerpoint treble hooks. The floating

Jimmy 2 casts very well even though it is a high bodied and very flat lure because most of the

rattle shots are placed in the back of the lure.

These sinking lipless baits produce a lot of noise with a large amount of steel rattles situated in the belly. These rattles are not only very attractive, but they provide the lure with perfect stability and action underwater. It is known amongst lure anglers that a deep muffled noise attracts bigger predators, but it is still unknown, when exactly a higher frequency or a lower one is more attractive. For that reason the rattles in the belly of the lures in the Max 2 family produce a more subtle dark muffled sound under a steady retrieve.

But with more speed and twitching movements all rattles start to emit a high frequency sound. This kind of lure movement

is especially enticing for pike, and for catfish the ‘crazy’ Mad Max 2 (12cm) is very successful. The smaller 8cm Mini Max 2 is perfect for black bass, zander and perch!

Small, fat, loud and striking, these are the key features of this floating shallow lure, and now it is even more effective! This lure was developed for predators which are difficult to reach. A special long-cast-system in the lure body provides accurate distance casts and the high buoyancy makes it possible to let it drift with the river flow – under bushes and overhanging trees. But the lure is also perfect for attracting shy predators next to their hiding place.

The deep rattle frequency and its aggressive movements ‘the mega-wiggle’ make it very successful on the surface. A shallow running lure perfect for weedy or very shallow waters. These floating lures rise quickly to the surface, so hooking sub surface weed is not a problem anymore. V-shaped rubber baits are now very common, but few constantly produce good results. However the Fork Tail is a reliable classic! When you hold the Fork Tail you instantly notice the slightly stiff rubber mixture. If you carefully move it by hand the shad starts to vibrate and its tail keeps moving for seconds. This is a particularly attractive action which has great advantages for drop shot or vertical fishing.

With a softer rubber mixture, the whole body would vibrate, but the effect of prolonged vibration would be missing and this is the key factor in the attraction. The particularly fine grain on the fish-like body gives a perfectly realistic appearance.

The Fork Tail can be fished with a conventional jig (e.g. vertical fishing) as

well as with an Offset Hook (e.g. soft-jerking) and because its

belly slit is tiny it does not create problems when jigging. Additional

attraction is created by the inclusion of real fish oil. The Fork Tail is available in three

sizes for pike, catfish, big zander and even sea-fishing!

“A bait that just keeps on and on catching big fish!” That is the verdict of Predator World Champion, Dietmar Isaiasch. Dietmar has proved time and time again that this is no cheap advertising slogan, but a fact, and he has caught numerous trophy zander - including six of his metre long fish - and plenty of monster perch on this fringe bait. Dietmar has spent a long time experimenting with this bait over the past few years and has finally created the Legend - the ultimate bait for big zander.

The heart of the Legend is the twelve loose tentacles that act independently and pulsate during jigging, and then lay flat during the sinking phase. As soon as the bait hits the bottom the tentacles open up, then close automatically after one to two seconds. This action triggers an instinctive snap reflex in very shy predators. The incredible action is created by injecting a special rubber mixture into the bait during manufacturing.

The appearance of the Legend is perfect, with an especially fine grain on the elongated body and due to the tiny belly slit it can be fished with a common jig as well as on an Offset Hook without compromising either method. If all of those outstanding fish catching features were not enough, the Legend also contains real fish oil to enhance attraction even further.

This is the rubber bait that caught more fish than any other on every test fishing trial! It didn’t take as many trophy fish as the Legend, but it was unbeatable in terms of numbers caught.

These outstanding catch results are based on the Rip Shaker’s deep gouges. It doesn’t matter how fast the bait is reeled in, the gouges decrease water pressure so that the hammer tail does not start rotating but keeps up a continual and very realistic movement. In addition to reducing pressure, the gouges also cause a unique and very fine compression wave, very similar to that produced by a real prey fish.

The Quiver Shad is one of the rare rubber shads with a bucket tail and a belly slit designed for Offset Hook fishing.

Pro’s like to use the Quiver Shad on Texas or Carolina rigs, as well as for drop shot fishing or soft jerking. An Offset hook size 4/0

or 5/0 is ideal for the 115mm version and the 85 mm version is best fitted with a size 2/0 Offset hook.

The Quiver Shad can also be jigged using a lead head without risk of ripping the front of the bait. The Quiver Shad contains real fish oil and is available in two sizes: 85 and 115mm

This is one of three rubber shads which have the same body shape but differently shaped tails. The Darter Tail has a very fine, pointed tail made from a hard rubber mixture that makes it stand away from the body and emit excellent vibration through the water.

The Darter Tail has a belly slot and should ideally be fished on an Offset hook, with the optimum hook size for the 100mm model being a 2/0 or 3/0, with a size 1 perfect for the smaller pattern. However, the Darter Tail can also be jigged or vertically fished using a common jig head, as the body slit has no adverse effect on action and provides enough space for a jig hook.

The Darter Tail contains real fish oil and is available in two sizes: 75 and 100mm

This is an extremely hot combination of twister and rubber fish, enhanced with a mini hammer tail and a belly slit for Offset hooks. The Chatter Tail is versatile and very effective when fished on a size 2/0 Offset Hook with a Texas or Carolina Rig, or used for drop shot fishing. To date this is the only Offset bait with this type of tail and as such a possible solution for highly pressured waters because predators may not have seen this type of bait before!

Despite having a belly slit the Chatter Tail can also be jigged brilliantly. To enhance attraction the Chatter Tail also contains real fish oil.

A real perch magnet, the shape of this bait creates an action so realistic it’s just like having a real worm on the hook! On its lower side the worm is fine grained, whilst the upper side is flat so a sudden pull twists then untwists the bait to give a perfect imitation of a real twisting worm.

When Wacky-Style fishing it is advisable to put the hook through the flat side to increase water resistance and create an even more natural movement. The Wriggle Worm has a small slit and can also be presented on the Offset hook and twitched with Texas or Carolina rigs. Experts prefer to fish it with the drop shot system – simply hooked at the thick end of the head and the inclusion of real fish oil increases the irresistibility of the bait!

“What an exceptional catching machine!” That is what our the Pro’s thought of the Tiddler Fast during the six months that this lure was tested. Tiddler means ‘small fish’, which may be true because the shad has a short length of just 13cm. But the small and extremely lively paddle tail moves with a high frequency in the water, which has accounted for some exceptional catches.

Whether you fish it with long jerks on a light jig head or with just small and quick movements, predatory fish react immediately on the shads presence with an attack. During the testing phase fish were caught from areas where other lures no longer produced. Simply try the Tiddler with the paddle tail in the ‘fast’ version for yourself, the results will impress you. One tip for fishing the Tiddler: jigging with a jig head is excellent but also try it with a drop shot, Texas or Carolina rig.

The Tiddler Slow is perfect for when predators are not moving too much. Slow does not mean that it will only catch fish when fished slowly, it also means that it has a more calm action - the tail does not move as much sideways as with the fast version.

This small fish imitation, with its pointed tail, will move with the tiniest of movements and the slight swinging movement makes every passive perch or zander become more instantly more interested! Due to the slender form, the 13cm long Tiddler Slow can be fished with all modern rigs, but also traditionally with a jig head. Our secret tip is that it is an excellent lure for vertical jigging but also a killer during summer. Fish the Tiddler Slow in warm water, with temperatures over 18 degrees, with quick starts close to the bottom, zander love fleeing attempts like that!

Finally something truly small the 7cm long Warrior Mini Fry is the just right size for perch and trout without a big appetite. The small fat body, with the movable hammer tail, makes a positive account of itself everywhere. Jerked with a lightweight jig head or presented with a drop shot rig, the Warrior Mini Fry can be presented using a wide range of methods.

The Warrior Wise Shad is not a lure for the faint at hearted, according to Dietmar Isaiasch. This is a shad that results in super hard takes from perch and zander. Bullet Weig htsIf you are making modern Texas and Carolina rigs then these are the right weights for them.

Thanks to the bullet-shape, the bait flies perfectly for long range casting and creates little water resistance whilst fishing. The hollow end is perfectly shaped for the glass bead and every hit with the bead causes a special ‘click’ sound which predators home in on. Note that the inner lead is smooth and has no sharp edges.

This also means that the rig itself is less noticeable in the water because the weight is smaller. dRopshot WaCky hooksFormed like a circle hook, with a wide open bend and a straight eye, for perfect bait presentation when using the dropshot method with extra long soft plastic baits like worms, slugs and finesse shads.

The needle sharp point is turned towards the shank of the hook, but it often finds a hold immediately the bait is sucked in. Missed takes or lost fish are rare with this hook, even for fish with a soft mouths. Very light and durable due to the Teflon coating.

Because of this we have put a great deal of thought into producing an outstanding range of first-class steel leaders to ensure that nothing goes wrong when playing a predator. All Rage leaders are manufactured from high quality 1 x 19 strand steel that makes them particularly fine, but still ensures a very high breaking strain. The sleeves on the leader loops are crimped by hand and the breaking strain of every leader is tested before packing. CrimpiNg pLiErSGood connections are essential for all rigs. It doesn’t matter if you use steel, kevlar, mono or fluorocarbon - the fish is lost if your rig breaks. For this reason predator experts always crimp their rigs and with the correct sized sleeve, crimped by the right pliers, you get a safe connection that guarantees almost 100% of the linear breaking strain of the rig material.

Due to the shape of the pliers, as well as the five pressure points, the sleeve is not stressed and is squeezed only in the middle leaving the two ends protruding with no sharp edges. One tip worth noting is to put your rig material twice through the sleeve to get the best breaking strain. These Crimping Pliers are the same used for all hand-made Fox Rage rigs.
