The RAGE project
• To support Applied Games industry build-up:
─ RAGE will deliver self-contained gaming assets that support
easier, faster and more cost-effectively games
development
─ Assets will be delivered via an online portal and social
space connecting all stakeholders
• RAGE is a Research and Innovation project co-funded by EU
Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon
2020
• The project started on February 1st, 2015 and will last 48 months

RAGE online social space The RAGE online social space will:
• Provide centralised access to dispersed Applied Gaming assets
• Share strong expertise in key technology value chains
• Provide a social dimension supported by community tools for
collaboration, annotation, creativity, matchmaking.
• Organise training courses for developers and educators
• Support industrial road-mapping to encourage disruptive innovation
• Cover cross-cutting aspects such as international cooperation
• Deliver aids enabling educators to create their own assets

RAGE applied gaming technology assets:
• are “Advanced Gaming technologies” (cf. EC call)
• are not technologies that are widely available already, e.g. Oculus
Rift, Unity game engine
• cover applied gaming functionalities (viz. pedagogical added value)
• are easily integrated with existing game platforms (interoperability)
