Overview of RafflecopterSweepstakes Set-up and InstallationRafflecopter (rafflecopter.com) is an online service that facilitates easy, customizable creation of sweepstakes and contest entry forms. The forms provide a wide array of entry options for the creator to choose from, including integration with most social media platforms, email and blog subscription, and custom entry options. These options can be assigned “values,” with each point being worth one entry in order to give some entry options more “weight” according to their value for the creator.

After the form is created, its widget is then easily embeddable anywhere HTML is accepted with the provided code, and is mobile-responsive. This code can also be sent to others who may agree to host a giveaway on their own website. Additionally, if embedding to a website is not an option, Rafflecopter also creates a landing page for each giveaway that can be shared online. Finally, Rafflecopter has one-click installation as a custom tab on any Facebook page.

Entry ManagementAfter the giveaway is over, Rafflecopter provides a process for selecting any amount of random winners. Once selected by the application (powered by random.org) the contestant’s entry can be vetted for validity. If invalid, the entry can be disqualified and another winner selected. If valid, the contest manager has a button to email the winner at the address they provided, view the social media profiles provided, and announce the winner on the widget.

ties in with Ohio pride.• Increase awareness of our divisions that people who follow our main/most popular

pages may not be aware of.

The Prize/Sweepstakes DurationTwo Family 4-Packs of tickets to the Ohio State Fair were to be given away in the contest running from Midnight on 6/29/16 to Midnight on 7/21/16

Entry Options• Visit us, our divisions and their affiliated pages on Facebook (12 pages) worth 1

point each• Follow our divisions and their affiliated accounts on Twitter (11 accounts) worth 1

point each• Follow our Instagram and provide your handle in the “additional information box” for

verification, worth 3 points because our Instagram covers all of our divisions and it was one of our main goals to increase its following. Therefore, incentivizing this particular option was in our best interest

PromotionA graphic featuring details of the giveaway was created to add to social media posts and a webpage was added to the official Ohio Department of Public Safety website to host the widget.

The giveaway was posted to a different division’s Facebook and Twitter each day, with the Ohio State Fair tagged in each post and #giveaway added after research on hashtagify.me showed this tag was widely used. The giveaway was also posted to Instagram and the clickable link was added to our bio.
