The open-ing ceremony was at-tended by numerous VIPs, including government officials, foreign diplomats and business leaders.There are different Qa-tar Fan Zones here in our city and ‘Olive Suno Ra-dio Network’ team was there to indulge the spirit of World Cup matches. The prestigious Emir Cup 2018 ended in its own style. Radio Olive 106.3 FM & Radio Suno 91.7 FM team was present at the Emir cup 2018 held at the Khali-fa International Stadium.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the final football match between Al Rayyan SC and Al Duhail SC for the Emir Cup which ended with Al Duhail winning over Al Rayyan 2-1.

Qatar National Sprint 2018 was held in Doha wherein top drivers were seen with officials of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycling Federation ( QMMF ). The event drew a huge crowd besides the presence of veteran Qatar rally drivers and amateur par-ticipants. Manjunatha , who is an Indian resident in Qatar was also there to compete in the car racing by displaying our Radio logos on his racing car.

Radio Olive 106.3 FM & Radio Suno 91.7 FM did an aware-ness campaign with Ministry of Interior and Public Relations Department, Qatar regarding important safety tips for Rama-dan.The message was shared on both channels via online & on-air mediums.

Yeah !! You heard it right. According to Ipsos data, Ra-dio Suno 91.7 FM have highest listenership after 02.00 PM in the evening. Garangao festival occurs half-way through the month of Ram-adan, on the 14th night when the moon is full. One of the most popular Ram-adan traditions has been the firing of a cannon at the start of Maghreb prayers and Qatar is still continuing this tradition to notify Muslim worshippers that the time to break their fast had arrived. Embassy of India conducted an amazing Yoga session in association with Indian Sports Center. They celebrated 4th International Yoga day at Al Khor International School. The Indian Ambassador to Qatar H.E P.Kumaran also participated in the Yoga session.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Club 4 Entertainment together conducted an Iftar Meet at a Labour Camp and Olive Suno Radio team were invited. It was an amazing experience for the hard-working labourers of Qatar and also a memorable day for our RJs’.
