 SFX: Digitized transition.

Teen2: (echo, as if into a well) You don’t see them, but they’re down there!

 Kid2: In that storm drain?

Teen2: (normal) Pollutants…lots of ‘em! Every time it rains, water runs into the drain, bringing motor oil, fertilizers, and

pesticides with them. It could end up in our rivers, lakes, and oceans!

 Kid2: Gross!

Kid: But you can do something about it! Remember, storm drains aren’t trash cans. There’s a right and wrong way to

dispose of waste products like motor oil and batteries.

Teen2: Ask your city how to do it safely and properly, and try to recycle whenever you can.

Kid: Team up with your local government to put up signs. Let people know it’s NOT okay to dump in our storm drains.

Teen2: Work with your friends and neighbors to spread the word about illegal dumping.

Kid: Because helping Mother Earth takes teamwork!

 SFX: Digitized transition.

Kid: It’s your planet, your way...

 Teen: Eco-friendly and lovin’ it!
