HIGH SCHOOL COURSE: The 4.2 mile loop starts on Schoolhouse Gulch Rd near the campground gate and climbs 460 feet per lap. Head east/southeast 1.3 miles to social connector. Turn left/northwest 0.2 miles toward Trail 396. Continue north 0.5 miles on Trail 396 to the intersection with Trial 81. Continue straight/north 0.8 miles on Trail 81 to the intersection with Trail 373. Turn right then left to stay on Trail 373 for 0.8 miles to the intersection with Trail 372. Turn left on Trail 372 and follow 0.4 miles to the intersection with Trail 396. Turn right on Trail 396 and follow 0.2 miles to the Schoolhouse Gulch start. MIDDLE SCHOOL COURSE: The 3.4 mile loop starts on Schoolhouse Gulch Rd near the campground gate and climbs 317 feet per lap. Head east/southeast 0.5 miles to unnamed trail on left. Turn left/northwest 0.6 miles toward Trail 396. Continue north/right 0.3 miles on Trail 396 to the intersection with Trial 81. Turn left/north 0.8 miles on Trail 81 to the intersection with Trail 373. Turn right then left to stay on Trail 373 for 0.8 miles to the intersection with Trail 372. Turn left on Trail 372 and follow 0.4 miles to the intersection with Trail 396. Turn right on Trail 396 and follow 0.2 miles to the Schoolhouse Gulch start. The course will be open for pre-ride Saturday afternoon (12:00-4:00 p.m.) and Sunday morning (7:00-8:30 a.m.). We recommend all riders pre-ride the course, and bring a map, plenty of water, cell phone and not ride alone. Please pass course workers with great care. Please note: middle school race will be occurring on part of the high school course Saturday beginning at 3:00 p.m. Please give the right of way to middle school racers and pre-ride between noon- 3:00 p.m. if possible. Mechanics from Trek Bicycle Store of West Phoenix will be on hand Sunday to provide last minute adjustments and repairs for our racers in the neutral support area. From Prescott, turn south onto Montezuma St from Gurley St. Stay on Montezuma St (which turns into White Spar, then Hwy 89) for 3 miles. The campground entrance is just off the highway on your left. The road and spurs are paved. Parking will be available in the field immediately to your right when you enter the campground and along the main road through the campground. Space at this venue is limited so please make every effort to carpool or ride share. NO PARKING ALLOWED IN THE PIT ZONE. Concessions will be available onsite from Singlespeed Coffee Roasters.

Note: Independent riders will compete in D2 in split fields (Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Varsity Boys).

All racers will receive a permanent number plate with chip timing transponder on the backside. Racers will use this plate for all five races so please remove this number plate before mounting the bike on a roof rack to prevent loss. Replacement number plates will be available at the registration tent for $10.

Those petitioning for exceptions to the category placement must do so by Wednesday, September 14, at 5:00 p.m. Petitions must be emailed to League Director Mike Perry ([email protected]). Race day petitions will not be accepted.

Make your race day more enjoyable and avoid long lines and late fees by registering in advance online! Double-check that you are registered and Race Ready in the Pit Zone before online registration closes. All riders need to be invited to register in the Pit Zone. Contact your team director to be invited; independent riders contact League Director Mike Perry. For questions regarding the Pit Zone, contact registration services at [email protected].

Online registration closes at midnight on Sunday, September 18. Onsite registration will be open on Saturday 12:00-4:00 p.m. and on Sunday 7:00-11:30 a.m. All racers must register at least one hour prior to their start time. Please note: onsite registration will result in a late fee of $10 for league registration and $10 for race registration.

CAMPING: Camping is available on site in the White Spar Campground (http://goo.gl/8OmIQN); reservations are not accepted (first come, first served). 57 campsites ($14 per night) include picnic tables, fire pits and grills, and usually accommodates one vehicle towing a camp trailer plus one additional vehicle (there is a $5 charge for additional vehicle). Vehicles must be parked in space provided on site, not along side the road. Sites are designed for 5 people; a maximum of 10 is allowed. No RV hook-ups.
