Trann Tech provides a full service fabric coating and raw materials processing center located in Mossy Head, Florida. Quality is assured in every aspect of processing with our long term and broad base of experience and capabilities. Our full service laboratory and manufacturing centers provide a wide range of coating processes for research and development for new products, short trial lots and large bulk production. Our services include complete warehousing, fabric inspection and, if required, specialized shipping for direct shipment to end use customers.

EquipmentCoatings have become and continue to be more and more complicated, thereby requiring more sophisticated equipment. With our proprietary technology, we have developed and built the most technologically advanced equipment available. We, therefore, are able to offer unmatched flexibility for most coating processes.

Listed below is a brief description of our equipment that is currently in use. Newly developed equipment is continually added to our processing systems. . A Variety of our Unwinding Systems:

Fabrics and raw materials that can be shipped to

us on any diameter core for center bar let off. Large Roll A-frame. Zero tension let off for delicate fabrics. Multi stand let off for small lot rolls.

. Fabric accumulation for continuous coating without stopping for roll change over.

. Computerized tension adjustment stand to ensure consistent coating.

. Unique and proprietary Combination Knife Coater and Submerged Roll Coating. This unit offers:

Knife Over Roll Floating Knife Knife over machined gap table Knife over foam bed Adjustable chemical retaining trough Bi-directional submerged roll coating Variety of different knife profiles

Our Unwinding Systems are used for fabrics with stable widths. The versatility allows for both sides of the fabric to be coated at the same time with the same or different chemicals. . Multi functional Padding, Laminating and Vertical

Coating System. This unit features the following: Immersion Padding with quick change immersion

pan Fabric to fabric lamination with chemical binding Immersion and vertical coating for delicate fabric

. Parallel Tenter Entry with Overfeeding Capability. This prevents mispins and skewness of pinned

selvages while providing consistent tension . Unique and proprietary On-Frame Knife Coater

includes the following features: Knife over roll Floating knife Knife over foam bed Knife over machined gap table Adjustable chemical retaining trough Variety of different knife profiles and widths

Our equipment is exceptional and effective for fabrics that may have tendency to narrow when linear tension is applied. It also allows fabrics to be coated at a stretched point, which can increase seam strength. . Our proprietary Levitator Tenter Dryer System.

Trann Tech has incorporated a revolutionary drying system in the operation. This Trann system utilizes a unique electro-convection drying system. The advantages of this system prove to be far superior to typical gas, steam and thermal oil systems. Most important, the heat inside the dryer is cleaner and more stable allowing for the processing of delicate coatings and fabrics. It is also extremely versatile which allows for slower processing speeds of specialized coatings to higher production speeds for bulk production.

EQU I PM EN T Additionally, there is only slight heat deviation from side-center-side allowing for pigment dyeing of products without heat fading. . Versatile Winding.

Products can be wound directly onto the customers existing a-frames, 2” - 6” cores, or sent over to inspection for customer specified winding procedures.

. Inspection and shipment. Processed fabrics are carefully inspected as coated materials exit the tenter. Defects are marked and tagged. Additional inspection is available as well as special rewinding services and direct shipment to end use customers.
