With 15" TFT moving CRT included as standard, machine operation becomes an easy and pleasant job. Powerful dialogue programming smarT.NC® with fully alphanumeric keyboard, Heidenhain controller iTNC-530 is capable of addressing 256 blocks for high speed machining and 5-axis simultaneous control.

Regardless what type of 5-axis programs, the iTNC-530 control makes all the compensating movement in the linear axes resulted from the titling axes. The unique feature TCPM (Tool Center Point Management) provides an optimal tool guidance and prevents contour gouging. With TCPM included, the interpolation between the start and end positions can be defined, so the face milling and peripheral milling can be implemented. The programmed feed rate and inclination angle for the milling tools can be also defined so as to obtain better surface quality during large compensating movement.

The short block addressing time 0.5 ms for 3-D line segment without tool compensation permits high cutting speed for reliable accuracy at even complex contours by this powerful 5-axis controller.

Dynamic Collision Monitoring (DCM)With this software DCM included as standard, the control interrupts machining whenever a collision is imminent and increases the safety for the machine and its operator. Three warning stages can be set up to detect clearance (14, 8, 2 mm) between two moving components.

Calibrating Rotary Axis with KinematicsOpt.With the Heidenhain touch probe (TS-640 or TS-740) inserted and this hardware option KinematicsOpt included, a 3D touch probe cycle measures machine rotary axes fully automatically. A calibration ball is fixed at any position of machine table, the rotary axes can be measured and the data will be calibrated to minimize the spatial error caused by the tilting movement.

Air DryerTo prolong the service life of the spindle bearings which require oil-air lubrication, the air dryer is included as standard to assure the inflow air quality.

Oil Coolers for Spindle & DD MotorWhile the spindle structure is built for maximum rigidity, the spindle oil cooler is installed to circulate coolants around cooling jacket of built-in spindle to ensure longer service life for spindle bearings. Another oil cooler is also included to protect costly C-axis DD motor.

Linear scales and angular encodes● Linear scale in X axis has been included as standard to

compensate thermal deformation for highest positioning accuracy over full stroke 3 meters.

● Angular encodes are included as standard for C axis and B axis to assure high accuracy for every indexing.

Heidenhain portable hand-wheel HR-410To enable to get a closer look at the workpiece in the machining area, Heidenhain portable handwheel HR-410 is included for easy operation. Auto tool length measurementTo reduce the tool setup time, auto tool length measuring system upgrades machining efficiency and accuracy. ● Heidenhain® TT-130 or TT-140 tool touch probe captures tool

length and radius when probing the tool, the contact plate is deflected and a trigger signal is transmitted to the iTNC-530 control.

● Renishaw® TS-27R offers similar system to measure tool length and diameter as well.

HSK-A63 tooling systemThe tooling system can be upgraded to the popular tooling system HSK-A63 for higher clamping quality and smaller cutting vibration to prolong spindle service life.

Coolant Though Spindle (CTS)For improved deep hole drilling and boring capability, coolants can be forced through the center of the spindle under the high pressure (20-70 bars by different brands of pumps) directly to the cutting area. To ensure long and reliable running of this system, find particles produced during machining must be fitted out to prevent damage to the spindle. Victor Taichung's customized cleaning system by centrifugal dispersion or replaceable filter cores is far more reliable with less maintenance than conventional system to avoid the fine particles flowing into the spindle.

Auto part measuring To reduce time spent setting part position and manually inspecting finished parts, auto part measuring is available with the use of Renishaw® RMP-60 touch probe. This touch probe uses a unique frequency hopping spread spectrum RADIO transmission system for communicating with the CNC controller for component setting and inspection.

Additional CNC rotary table (A-axis)Besides the existing C-axis rotary pallet embedded on fixed table, the CNC rotary table and the supporting tailstock can be also installed (A-axis) to make the full use of the long fixed table.
