The 3 G’s: Grace, Gratitude and Generosity. Click here to listen to Pastor Steve Schibsted’s sermon,
“Gratitude Killer”.
Come worship and give thanks to our great God at our annual Thanksgiving Eve service where we are able to pause as a faith family
and express our gratitude for God’s goodness. You will have an opportunity to share during our open-mic time and give to our special
offering which directly benefits Rancho Sordo Mudo and our “Give-It-Away” fund. No Youth Programs. Come to Worship!
Childcare is available for preschool and under.
On November 8th, the Blood Drive will take place from 8am-1pm in the
cellar directly below the sanctuary. If you have any questions, please con-
tact Tim at [email protected] or 241.7402.
On November 13
Pastor Steve will
visit our group to
discuss "Searching
for Sunday" by
Rachel Held Evans.
This timely book has
the sub-title,
"Loving, Leaving and
Finding the Church".
We meet the 2nd Friday of the month, 9:30- 11 am in the

SUNDAY AFTERNOON
CONCERT SERIES
Several times a year Stephen
Canfield puts together a wonderful
variety of concerts that are held on a
Sunday afternoon. This November is
no different. Our performers are
from right here at SCPC. Soloists
Eleanor Hughes, Bette Kerhoulas,
Stephen Canfield and violinist Louis
Portillo will provide us with an after-
noon of music on November 15th at
4pm in the sanctuary. Admission is
free. Please bring a friend!
Veterans Day WWII Exhibit
SCPC, in keeping with being a community for the community, will be hosting a tribute to our WWII Veterans and all who have
served and sacrificed for our freedom. Pastor Blankman’s exhibit includes paintings and drawings, primary documents, photos,
letters and telegrams and much more! It pays tribute to Pastor Blankman’s father, TSgt. Kenneth Earl Davis, US Army, who survived
the Bataan Death March and was a prisoner of war for three and a half years in the Philippines and Japan, and to all who served
and sacrificed. Some of our local WWII Veterans will be present for this exhibit. We will honor them, thank them, and hear some
of their stories. Currently serving military personnel will also be present for us to thank.
