Ministros, Acomodadores y Voluntarios:

Algunos de ustedes han recibido una carta diciéndo-les que tienen que realizar los cursos de Ambiente Seguro (Primera Clase y/o Renovación). Nos hemos enterado que algunos se han sentido ofendidos por ello. Esa no es nuestra intención sino que sean cons-cientes de la necesidad de hacer estos cursos que son obligatorios por disposición de la Diócesis de Phoenix. Desde los primeros avisos que hemos dado -ya hace meses- con esfuerzo se han organizado los cursos varias veces para que pudiesen participar de ellos. Próximamente tendremos todavía una próxima fecha para ellos y si no puede participar de ellos, por favor llamar a la oficina de la parroquia. La Diócesis nos obliga a que todos aquellos que sirvan en nues-tra parroquia participen en estos cursos. Por favor ayúdenos para que podamos seguir contando con su valiosa colaboración en nuestra parroquia.

Peregrinación del 75 Aniversario de la Parroquia San Antonio

El 3 de Enero de 2018 la Parroquia San Antonio cumplirá su 75 Aniversario de fundación. Por esta razón estamos organizando una peregrinación de acción de gracias al Santuario de San Antonio de

Padua en Italia. La peregrinación incluye Roma (con la audiencia papal), Orvieto, Asís (visitando los sitios de San Francisco), Florencia, Ravenna, Padua y Ve-necia. Esta planificada para la primera quincena de

Noviembre del 2017. Son el total de 12 días. Si usted esta interesado favor de hablar a la oficina. Pues la compañía de viajes nos solicita saber el número de

Safe Environment Announcement

Ministers, Ushers and Volunteers: Some of you have received a letter telling you that you need to take the Safe Environment courses (First Class and / or Renewal). We have heard that some have been offended by it. That is not our intention, but you need understand the need to take these courses that are required by the Diocese of Phoenix. Since the early notice about this -some months ago– we have organized several courses so you could participate in them. Soon we will have other classes. If you can not participate in them, please call the parish office. The Diocese requires us all who serve in our parish partici-pate in these courses. Please help us. We want that you continue to serve in our parish.

ST. ANTHONY 75 ANNIVERSARY PILGRIMAGE

On January 3, 2018, St. Antony Parish will celebrate its 75th anniversary of foundation. For this reason we

are organizing a thanksgiving pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua in Italy. The

pilgrimage includes Rome (with the papal audience), Orvieto, Assisi (visiting the sites of St. Francis),

Florence, Ravenna, Padua and Venice. 12 days of pilgrimage. Planning to travel the first part of

November 2017. If you are interested, call the parish office. The travel agency asks for the

number of pilgrims since this will depends on the price of the pilgrimage.

Catholic Campaign For Human Development

WORKING ON THE MARGINS The Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) needs your help. CCHD is the official national anti-poverty program of the bishops in the United States. It was founded to end the cycle of poverty in the United States by funding organizations that help individuals help themselves. The CCHD is governed and overseen by bishops, accountable to the bishops, and operates in fidelity to Church teach-ing, integrity and transparency. Your contribution will defend human dignity and reach out to those living on the margins. Please give to the CCHD collection on November 20th, 2016.
