◦Dr. George Huang, DDS, MSD, DSc is Professor and Director of Stem Cells and Regenerative Therapies. Dr. Huang is a world-renowned boarded endodontist, specializing in the regeneration of bone using dental pulp.

◦Dr. Yanhui Zhang, PhD is a new assistant professor in the Department of Bioscience Research, currently conducting product tests for plaque glycolysis and regrowth, and saliva biomarkers

◦Dr. Chris Ivanoff, DDS is a new associate professor in the Department of Bioscience Research, specializing in alternate current electrokinetics and dielectrophoretic drug transport in dentistry.

The CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTERThe Clinical Research Center, located on the 3rd floor of the Dental Building, will be used for industry-sponsored clinical trials.

There are already three clinical studies being conducted in the center.

1. Develop the plaque glycolysis, demineralization/remineralization and dental erosion laboratory capabilities in the newly developed lab to increase industrial funding.

2. Increase clinical research projects and funding in the newly developed Clinical Research Center.
