INTRODUCTION
This is the second in a series of bulletins designed to catalog the
accessions of the Mantor Library at Farmington State College in the field
of special education. During the school year 1966-1967 the Department of
Special Education expects to issue the complete holdings of the library
pertaining to special education study.
Behavioral Disorders consists of holdings in both social and psychological
maladjustments. Some related sociological and psychological materials have
been included in this listing. However, it is expected that the majority
of materials which would be considered as related 011 be issued in a
separate bulletin - Exceptional Children: Related Psychological and Sociological
Materials. This bulletin will be issued later in the series.
The Department of Special Education now expects that this bulletin as
issued will remain constant for some time. In order to update this bulletin
a supplement will be issued within one year that will list accessions to the
Mantor Library from the time this bulletin is issued.
This listing contains only cataloged materials in the Mantor Library
and does not presume to be an encompassing bibliography. Journal articles
have not been included as projects are now under way in the Department of
;Special Education to issue long-term indexes of major periodicals in the
field of special education.
The Department of Special Education is most grateful to Mrs. Marjorie
Bragg and the staff of the Mantor Library for their assistance and support
in this project.
