again we are taking extra time to be absolutely certain that all petrochemical component, fuel surcharges,

stainless steel costs, certification and regulatory costs, health insurances, taxes are understood so that we can

avoid a multitude of frustrating and confusing changes in the future. As we discussed in previous Planners, we

negotiate most of our raw material and components contracts with continued volumes, scheduled release dates

to Aquathin (while we still maintain a 3 month inventory in-house), obtain favourable inbound freight costs using

supplier participation including freight free in most cases from our largest suppliers...all that and our sharp

perception and initiation of the 1.6% IEPCCC (adding a 3rd C for Certifications). We haven’t raised the system

prices to where they need to be because buffered by the IEPCCC. This is huge. Yes, for those of you who have

been with Aquathin the longest, all know that we have had minimal price increases over the years, and mostly

affecting the largest items i.e. POE products [Fleck, Structural, Resin and especially GAC increases]. This past

year, regulatory and health costs increase. Aquathin POE Dealer system costs continue to remain lower than

Culligan (made in Taiwan), Kinetico, Eco, Rainsoft, Hague (made in Taiwan). Some cost increases are effective

this week and the remainder September 1, 2014. Aquathin values our Dealers, your business and the trust your

Customers place in you and Aquathin. These minimal price increases are an important part of supporting the

investments required to continue to deliver the broad range of high value products and services you and your

Customers expect, to meet everyone’s needs now and in the future. Planner will be published shortly thereafter.

fuel surcharges, stainless steel costs, certification costs, are understood so that we can avoid a multitude of frustrating and confusing

changes in the future.

As we discussed in the 10/17/05 Dealer emailing and in he subsequent Planners, using our strong cash position, we’ve negotiated most

of our raw material and components contracts with continued increased volumes, permanent scheduled release dates to Aquathin

(while we still maintain a 3 month inventory in-house and in bonded warehouses), obtained favourable inbound freight costs using

supplier participation including freight free in most cases from our largest suppliers...all that and our sharp perception and initiation

Yes, for those of you who have been with Aquathin the longest, all know that we have had minimal price increases over the years, and

Several years ago we completed the conversion of another 5000 square feet of Office Storage into Production...and it is stroking!

We have retooled the original Production Area's Work Stations and Shipping Area to be as Lean as the newly completed areas. And

because banks pay zilch for interest, last year Aquathin further leveraged its purchasing power, and increased it's "components in

knock down" inventory on hand. This is a big stick in control of costs and productivity.

THE GOAL IS ACHIEVED: any order in house at 48.1 hours is considered an "old order". That's right. Aquathin is moving

97% all your orders, from 1 to 200 units, in 1-3 business days max (save Commercial and Custom Systems). Dealers enjoy "shaved

days" off delivery of larger orders resulting from strong inventory, tighter dialogue in forecasting, strong Team, further streamlined

Production facilities, growing number of Bonded Warehouse facilities, Kaizan (Constant Improving) Practices.

HURRICANE PLANS

For as long as I can remember, hurricane plans meant "stock up the bar and party!" No more after Wilma's experience. I kept you

informed during Hurricane Wilma concerning all the stressful inconveniences we lived with i.e. no gas, no electricity, yet our Team

was still able to turn out hundreds of units. Aquathin is now operational on full power generators and installed a fleet fuel tank on

premises so that our Team is readied and no one is wasting time in gas lines.

SHIPPING AND LOGISTIC UPDATE

The preparation and follow up of your shipments is also one of our highest priorities and concerns. Our Shipping Dept.

goes to great lengths to establish the most compact dimensions for pallets which may include cutting pallets to size to save

you shipping costs...and your pallets look like they are wrapped for the holidays !! Our Team extensively shrink wrap to

protect against the elements; apply red tape to ward off forklift blades; fiberglass strap to pallet for security. A Detailed

Packaging Sheet is prepared to advise you what product is in what box and on what pallet to assure complete arrival and

that for international orders, Customs gives you everything back after inspection. Our Shipping Dept. communicates with

freight forwarders and trucking companies regarding your logistics and any special needs, and completes The Shipper's

Letter of Instructions (SLI) which include our special instructions to not break down pallets, no stacking on top of pallets,

don't allow to freeze. Finally, they fax you a copy of the waybill, pro numbers and / or MAWB or ocean bill of lading. We

are pleased to report what you already know. Claims for losses or damages are nil. I wish that parties shipping to us were

only half as efficient !

These extensive sets of services had been free of charge. Due to the rising cost of pallets and packaging

materials, we can no longer offer this for free....but it’s the next best thing to free. The cost per pallet is $8.50

for all these services.

Reminder....and just in case they throw it away thinking it’s junk mail...they will receive an email notification.

We are often solicited by competitors that wish to purchase our superior RO membranes, DI Modules, patented

auto flush, our technologies. And we have been solicited by overseas governments (and even asked by several

Aquathin Dealers) to outsource manufacturing overseas with the thought to reduce costs.

I participate in a U.S. Commerce Dept. and Florida District Export Council's newest panel for the many issues

of U.S. and European manufacturing being outsourced overseas. The crux of the horror stories we hear so often

repeated is "I wanted to reduce my costs and make more money, so I went to Hong Kong and China and India.

It turned out that I actually gave away all my technology and know-how for free to teach them what we

needed...and it resulted in my products going out their back door in 15 directions. NOW I COMPETE AGAINST

MYSELF AND MY DEALERS HAVE NO PROPRIETARY MARKETING ADVANTAGES. We tried their

courts...they are backlogged 8 years...and anyway, these guys open and close so fast under other names, it

cannot be controlled. I WISH I WOULD HAVE NOT MADE THIS GREEDY MISTAKE".

Both U.S. and EU governments are trying to work diligently with these countries to stabilize the problem of lost

manufacturing, lost jobs and technology piracy. But the problem lies within the likes of those who created the

problems...the non future minded greedy. Said conversely, the day Aquathin outsources its products or sells its

proprietary components, you lose exclusivity...because we lost control...AND THOSE ISSUES MY FRIENDS, OF

THE FLORIDA HURRICANE FILTER -- CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATION TO REMOVE PARTICLES

Water enters the 304 electropolished stainless steel Hurricane Filter's outer chamber tangentially, producing a

rotational flow. This flow pattern creates a centrifugal force which is used to separate particles such as sand,

rust, grit, metal fines first. Denser heavier particles drop to the bottom of the filter's outer chamber where they

are manually, automatically or continuously discharged. With the dense particles removed, water and light

solids rise up, over and into an inner chamber where the rotational flow is continued. Lighter solids ( from 50

micron to .35 micron ! ) are removed in the filter's inner chamber by a proprietary filter cartridge with deep,

angled pleats that are directed toward the water's rotational flow. As forces collide with the cartridge, the pleats

"flutter" to distribute particulates evenly within the pleated area, resulting in super efficiency and longevity

between cleaning or replacement. Hurricane Filters are also available for hot water applications such as

boilers. Options include Aquathin's Patented AutoFlush and AutoFlush with Continuous Discharge. Call

The following simple guidelines are to be exercised by all participating AQUATHIN Dealers:

1. The ABSOLUTELY NO ONE DOES IT BETTER LIFETIME WARRANTY (hereafter referred to as

ALW) covers repair or replacement of components for said systems in the ALW beyond their existing

Factory Warranty under the same conditions of use in the Factory Warranty.

A. Excluding normal module exchanges which are subject to standard charges in their

marketplace.

B. Excluding abuse. Abuse is defined as anything that affects equipment/components other than

normal wear and tear. Final discretion over any item that allegedly receives abuse belongs to

AQUATHIN CORP. U.S.A.

2. It is recognized that the success of the ALW Program is due to the joint effort between AQUATHIN

CORP. U.S.A. and the Participating Authorized AQUATHIN Dealer.

A. Exposures are minimal because components are of highest quality, long-lasting and usually

LESS than the maximum $50.00 cost.

B. Exposures are minimal because program is directed to and limited to first original purchaser.

C. Exposures are minimal because related costs are tied to recurring annual revenue from qualified

P.O.U. systems.

3. It is AQUATHIN'S intention that the Customer enjoy the benefits of the ALW free of charge when

purchasing both qualified P.O.U. and qualified P.O.E. system(s) at the same time, as an incentive in

their decision making process. Should the Customer wish to purchase the ALW in the event they have

decided to purchase only one qualified system, a check for $349.00 must be submitted to AQUATHIN

CORP. U.S.A. AQUATHIN will then grant the Authorized Dealer $100.00 credit to his account.

4. The Participating Authorized AQUATHIN Dealer will completely fill in the Customer information and

return the ALW Certificate along with the Factory Warranty (filled out) and copy of retail sales

invoice, (and $249.00 if subject) to AQUATHIN CORP. U.S.A. AQUATHIN will record in our

database.

The ABSOLUTELY NO ONE DOES IT BETTER LIFETIME WARRANTY and Program is an excellent

marketing tool designed to help you sell more equipment, lock in Customer loyalty, and secure referrals.

The ALW Program may be reviewed and altered from time to time for the benefit of the Factory, the Dealer,

and/or the Customer.

THE ALW PROGRAM IS EXCLUSIVE TO AQUATHIN CORP. U.S.A. AND AVAILABLE TO BOTH

DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATING AUTHORIZED AQUATHIN DEALERS.

Authorized AQUATHIN Dealers are required to sign this document and return an original copy to

AQUATHIN CORP. U.S.A. in order to participate in the ALW PROGRAM.
