Quota members Steph Stuart and Jane Lewis were some of
the ladies who assisted on Daffodil Day. It is one of the
many charities that Quota supports.
It was with great sadness to hear of the passing of
Robyn Towersey who was a member of Whakatane
Quota. Our thoughts are with her family.
Robyn often held leadership roles and was always
involved and pro-active with community Quota pro-
jects. She is most remembered for her involvement
of the setting up of the Whakatane Hospital Hospice, ’Project Hope’.
Her fortitude and kindness led to the Programme of ‘Look
Good, Feel Better’ for cancer patients visiting the Hospice. The
workshop aims to strengthen confidence and self esteem during
treatment. Thanks to Robyn it is still ongoing to this day.
