Quiz Star Registration Directions

Follow the following directions in order to register to take quizzes in science class.

1. Go to the science websitehttp://www.chsd.us/~tthompson

2. Click on the word quiz star under science.3. A website called quiz star will appear. The red arrows indicate where you should type or click according to the directions.4. Click on the sign up arrow above the login area.

5. A page will pop up that says student registration.6. The first blank wants you to type in your first name. Do not type in your whole first

name. Instead just use your first letter of your name.

7. Next it asks for your last name. Use your real last name for this box.ExampleI would type in Thompson.

8. In the username box type in the same user name you use to get on the computers here at school.

9. In the password box type in the same password that you use to get on the computers here at school.

10. In the reenter password box type the same password over.

11. Click on the word register located at the bottom of the page.

If you get the following screen that says user name is already used, then come up and talk to me. If you do not see this screen go to the next step.

12. A page that says classes will appear. There is a tab on the right hand side will say search. Click on it.

13. A class search page will appear.

14. In the empty white box next to #1 Class Title type in one of the five options below, depending on the hour you have science.

15. Click on exact match

16. Only one class will appear and it will say instructor Trent Thompson.

17. You need to check the box next to the class title.

18. Scroll down to the bottom and hit register.

19. You have now successfully registered for the class.20. Now you need to log out of quiz star (Not the computer) so I can accept you into the

class. The logout link is near the top under the quiz star logo.

21. Come up and let me know when you are done.

22. Once I give the ok click on student site.

23. Log back into quizstar.

24. If you did everything right the screen will have your hour and a list of untaken, started, and expired quizzes. Click where is says 1 untaken quiz.

25. Click on the take button by the Welcome Back quiz.

26. Click on the start button.

27. Do not hit the back button at any time during the quiz or you will have to start over.28. When done a screen will show that you have answered all of the questions. If all set

click on submit.

29. The number correct and percentage will show up. You may review the quiz if you choose. If all set, then log out.
